What button is spike?

I lost a game last night in franchise because I hit X (Xbox) to spike it so I could kick a field goal and win, and when I snapped the ball it did a fake spike, I was completely unprepared, and was sacked for a loss and time ran out and I lost.

I completely could have hit the wrong button or done something wrong, but what button is spike

How realistic is this scene from “The Mentalist”

In the episode “Red Dawn” from the mentalist, it flashes back to when the titular character Patrick Jane first joins the California Bureau of Investigation.

He’s grieving heavily after the loss of his wife and daughter and not in best shape

He goes to the CBI and gets into an argument with an officer there, who punches Jane, and in an effort to keep Jane from suing the CBI they give him access to all the files on Red John (the serial killer who killed Patrick Jane’s family.)

I’m curious if this is at all realistic, or if it’s played up for TV. Still a very good show but I always felt like this was stretching it

Edit: Its been pretty unanimous that the episode is very unrealistic, and coincidentally has always been my least favorite episode of the show. Thank you, but feel free to leave more insight, i love reading comments

*Some Stats are boosted from Morale and Coach Abilities but all should be boosted evenly*

So I'm Currently recording a Packer Franchise (Not why I'm here but It's on my YouTube if anyone is interested in more context, same username), and I'm having a dilemma.

I have enough D linemen for this year, but I need to resign or trade away or do something with some of them.

I Resigned Kingsley Enagbare and Karl Brooks to long term deals, they are both playing solid. Micah Parsons is still injured, but he's coming back soon and also on a long deal.

Rashan Gary is signed for this year and next still, but he could be traded if need be, currently playing best of all my linemen though with Micah still injured

Colin Oliver, Barryn Sorrel, and Colby Wooden are on cheap deals but need to be resigned or let walk at the end, shouldnt be too much money but are solid backup options.

My MAIN question is on LVN and Devonte Wyatt. Both are solid, but want massive contracts before next season. I have Enagbare and Brooks playing really well, but I'm worried about depth for injuries.

My question to you dear reader, would you sign LVN and Wyatt to deals, cut them, trade them, or what? I do have 1 first round pick but I could probably get some picks for them.

I have an idea of what I'm going to do, but I want the internet's advice first before I do anything for sure, So tell me what combination you would use on the line. I run a 4 man front
