End of Garza Podcast
I first of all do not intend to sound ungrateful for what music has dropped but I just feel disrespected.
Ever since tickets to my downfall went number 1 he said something along the lines of “ima give yall a rap album next year” that never came to pass. But I kept my patience and the subsequent work he did provide was enough to get me through my troubles and aligned with my pain in a divine manner, and hell I loved the rock era fr, great memories to great songs, but a rap album was also promised after mainstream sellout. We’re reaching 4 years now, we have a dope emo rap collab tape with trippie, another mixtape with an artist I’ve waited for him to link back up with for forever so I can’t help but be immensely excited for, and even another album, that I’ll admit has grown on me but still my least listened to project by him, my point being after stating my reasonings
at the end of the Garza interview he’s asked if “fix ur face” is on the album and he replies that it is but that he “doesn’t know what sound is gonna be”
Brother…..
I don’t want to come off as selfish like he NEEDS TO MAKE THIS FOR ME TO BE HAPPY or some bullshit
Or like I wanna dictate what he does as an artist but bro, I feel betrayed and led on with how much he’s postponing this “rap” album.
And what saddens me most is know he has it in him.
It’s not my place to ask a mainstream artist to “open up” but man I miss that shit, indigo gave me chills and brought me back to those vibes. Tell me what’s up brought me back to that feeling, Bmxxing, Taurus, death around the corner etc. That lyrical honest MC that could step with anybody and dish out vulnerability while layering it with stuff that heals wounds as fast he opens em.
Sorry for blabbering at the end I just feel tired of waiting on a “pure” rap album from him again and just gotta accept he gon be on some different shit for the long run now.
