I finally found a crusty case that I like and that is probably (hopefully) big enough. A while ago I had a Dell Dimension XPS in mind, but that case is about as narrow as they come so the power cables to most modern GPUs won't fit. That's when I came across u/Spectralius post and coincidentally found the same case the next day on a local eBay like site.
So I spent the better part of today pulling out its guts and transplanting those parts to an old Cooler Master case I still had lying around. (Last 2 pics..... it looks so wrong lol. While I'm at it I might see if I can paint the beige black before I resell it...)
For now my plan is to measure and see how many radiators I can cram inside it. The front could fit up to a 420mm if I want to get rid of the drive bays, which I might not want to do. Ideally I would keep those for some front IO and maybe one of those fan controller screens, so I will probably end up with a thicc 280mm in the front.
The bottom I can cut open to place either another 280mm or 240mm depending on how snug my motherboard fits. I could also change my current ATX board to a Micro ATX for some extra leg room.
So yeah... that's the plan. Any tips or thoughts are much appreciated
