Please, my dog suffering
I have been with this dog for more than 13 years. She has always been by my side through both good times and bad. Now my dog is sick, and the veterinarian says that her chances of recovery are very slim considering her age. She has a heart condition, a cyst on her liver, kidneys that are more than 70% damaged, and tumors on her leg, abdomen, and tail.
As her owner, I am not afraid of her dying. What I am afraid of is her experiencing pain and suffering during the process of dying. I want to honor all the love and companionship she has given me by letting her pass peacefully. Unfortunately, euthanasia for pets is not readily available in my country.
Does anyone know of a safe and humane way to help a terminally ill dog pass peacefully without pain?
