How clean do your floors have to be for you to comfortably walk around barefoot?

I absolutely love the feeling of walking around barefoot at home, but I am incredibly sensitive to feeling even the tiniest speck of dust, crumb, or loose hair under my feet. It instantly ruins my mood and makes me feel gross. Because of this, I find myself vacuuming and Swiffering almost every single day just to maintain a "safe" barefoot environment, and the second I slough on foot lotion, I have to wear slides so nothing sticks to me. For those who hate slippers and socks, how do you manage the anxiety of dirty floors, or do you just have a strict no outside clothes/shoes past the front door rule that keeps things pristine?

What is genuinely the most hygienic thing to use for washing your body?

I’ve used a plastic mesh loofah my entire life, but I keep seeing articles saying they just trap moisture and breed bacteria in the shower. I want to switch to something cleaner, but regular washcloths feel like they don't exfoliate enough, and silicone scrubbers don't lather well. What do you actually use to feel clean?

Do you apply body spray directly to your skin or just mist it over your clothes?

I bought a light daily body mist, and I’m wondering what makes the scent last longer. Some people say to put it on pulse points right after a shower, while others say it just fades immediately unless you spray it directly onto your shirt. What works best for you?
