First PC build (complete noob) — sanity check before I buy?

Hey everyone,
I’m a complete noob to building a PC. I’ve worked this through with ChatGPT (LOL, don’t judge), but I wanted to sanity-check it with real people before I actually spend the money.

My main use for this PC will be:
Gaming on Steam (mostly single-player games)
Modding Skyrim
Emulation (mainly PS2 and Xbox games)

I’m not really into competitive FPS games, but I do want a strong system that can handle modern AAA games and also give me room to branch out in the future if I want to try more demanding titles.

I know people are probably going to say “just get a bigger case,” but aesthetically this is the case I want and it fits best in my setup/desk space, so I’m trying to work within that constraint.

Before I buy it, does this sound balanced and sensible for my use case, or am I missing anything obvious / making any bad choices?
Thanks in advance 👍
