Subclass 500 Visa - Australia
Hello all, Im planning on lodging my student subclass 500 visa for my postgraduate studies in Australia. But im scared after seeing the refusal rates. Let me give you a little context : I hold a bachelor's in social work and a masters in International Relations from India. I recently received my COE from University of Western Australia for their Master of Social work (qualifying) program, but note that I had to clear an internal GS assessment because I was applying for a second masters. I have a sanctioned SBI loan for 48 lakhs (10% margin) and a fixed deposit which is 2.5 months old for 8 lakhs. As of now, I have money to show for the first year's tuition fee, cost of living, OSHC and flight + a little surplus of 8 lakhs. Is this enough?
I dont have any prior visa refusals or study gaps. I have maintained above average grades so far and cleared IELTS with an overall band of 8.
Should I go ahead and lodge my visa? Or should I strengthen my profile some more?
Im open to providing more info.
