So I will be on an exchange program next month in Saxion University, Enschede, Netherlands. I need a student housing for 5 months and it's really hard to look for a place because of student house scarcity. I posted on reddit, ig, checked school provided links but the availability is just impossible. So I went on facebook groups, posted my insterest of renting a room, so this guy called Mac Mac Ramos liked my post and aent a friend request so I sent him a pm asking if he can recommend a room, he said yes.

He created a group chat with this "Landlady" Carley Lyn (FB name) Transaction was smooth, everything went fine until I saw the receipt being tampered and questionned immediately why they used an ebay receipt. In my defense, they seemed legit because of the contract thingy but after the receipt, it already gave me a gut feeling that I got scammed, I knew it from there bc I used google lense to check the receipt.

To my curiosity, I even used google lense for the picture of the property and found the same pictures from a post from a dublin appartments and Poooof! Right under my nose!

That's when I knew I got scammed by these con artists? Life is already hard enough, why made someone's life miserable, why victimize a student and moreover, a fellow FILIPINO??
