Ill start: some artists really had the sound, image, and talent but the industry timing, label issues, or life got in the way. Sometimes they still got a cult fanbase even without going mainstream.

Me i gotta say is “Gotye” bro had 2012 in a chokehold with “Somebody That I Used Too Know” but literally fell off of earths spotlight… reason being i guess its because he had to run his own label or something i think but still fall out was crazy…

Hey guys new mod user here, i just created my first community “MusicHeadz” for music lovers and independent artists to discover new sounds, share tracks, network, and talk all things music culture but not quite sure how to spread the word in a non promotional way but in a way to really connect with others and share sounds/songs/artists some of us maybe have not heard of before. Like seriously though i love hearing a random set from an artist i haven’t heard, i think this years surprise for me was “BINI” was different for me but the vibes were awesome. Ive been so busy lately i havent even had a chance to check out some of the performances from this years event, planning to do so this evening therefore who do you guys think had the best set this year and why??

Does anyone else randomly get a random amount if streams for like 1 or 2 days and then back to normal stream count? I average like 1-2 listeners per day and every so often ill get a random 50 streams one day 75 the next then back to normal the next day.. doesnt make since (and im not doing promotion when this occurs)
