Please Help! Looking for Endo/Support
Hi all, I’m a new poster here but am really trying to look for help. I’m an early transition trans woman, currently looking to get onto HRT.
I live in Shepparton with Melbourne and Bendigo being the other closest cities. I have a supportive GP and Psychologist but they do not have the ability to prescribe me HRT.
Currently I’m looking for an endocrinologist with my GP doing their best to find me one that bulk bills and specialising in trans care. But unfortunately the options in Shepparton are basically none without turning to an expensive private women’s clinic. I’ve been referred to St Vincent’s Hospital Endo clinic but have been denied as they lack the service.
I was also recommended a GP at RMIT’s Medical hub in Melbourne but also learnt I’m seemingly not eligible for bulk billing there either…
Please help if you can fellow sisters, I’m just hoping to be pointed in the right direction 🥹 Of course, no good way won’t come without its own pains in the ass…
