Hi everyone,

I’m moving back to Rio and planned on bringing my LG washer and drier machines, but the electrician im Rio seems to be clueless about the installation requirements (vent duct on dryer, cold/hot water on washers etc)

Has anyone here brought or has a US washer or dryer to Rio, especially LG, Whirlpool, Maytag or Kenmore?

I would especially appreciate hearing about:

• Technicians who genuinely understand US-market machines, not just Brazilian LG models
• A reliable independent technician or service company you have personally used
• Long-term experience using an American washer/dryer in Rio
• Any problems involving installation, water connections or dryer exhaust
• Availability and cost of replacement parts

Any insights are appreciated, and replies in Portuguese or English are welcome.
