ILR advice needed

I am on SWV and due to apply for ILR in Oct.

From 2024-2025 I managed a rental property in my home country and got paid thru UK account. I believe the earnings was sent to HMRC as I did have to provide my NI number. The property made a little over £2000 and I sent home over £1000 and retained less than £1000 from my calculations. I’ve since closed the account of the property and don’t have much evidence apart from a bank statement for that year and receipt of the monies I sent home. I did all this before I knew it could affect my ILR.

I have consulted an accountant who told me don’t worry as I kept less than £1000 and do not need to file self assessment with HMRC.

I plan on using a solicitor when I apply.

My questions are should mention this in my cover letter?

Should I contact HMRC to query?
