This is assuming Combustion Man is even included at all. (but let's be real he's an iconic part and should be there in some way)
So what if instead of Zuko hiring Combustion Man in this S3 adaptation, it's Toph's parents? (mother lol)
I don't see Lady Beifong trekking through the Fire Nation / Western Air Temple? It's established that the Beifong clan has MANY fire nation contacts, and contracts, and Combustion Man do be sending hawks...
No way they're ending Toph's storyline that abruptly👁 She's always going to have to fight her Beifong identity in some way or another. A fight, once begun.
