Hey guys. I noticed a lot of new players need help with team building and summoning, so I decided to make this post and share some quick tips to help. I'll try to make this as short as possible, but I apologize if it takes you too long to read.

First, let's start with the basics:

1. Types of Units

DPS = Main attacker who does the damage (many units, like Red Toji).

Stat buffers = Increase Jujutsu or Taijutsu stats for the team (like SR Yaga).

DMG buffers = Increase DMG for units on the team (like SR Nanami).

Stat debuffers = Apply Jujutsu or Taijutsu DMG Taken Increase to enemies (like SR Gakuganji).

DMG Taken Increase debuffers = Apply DMG Taken Increase to enemies (like SSR Mai).

Other supports in general :

• Healers (like SR Shoko)
• CE recovery (like R Kaito)
• Ult gauge recovery (like R Inumaki)
• DMG Taken Decrease for allies on the team (like SR Kaito)
• DMG Dealt Decrease debuffers(Teen Gojo skill 3 only/ SSR Hanami)
• Jujutsu and Taijutsu stat decrease to enemies (SSR Junpei/ Geto and Yellow Yaga skill 2 )

Buffs are applied to allies, while debuffs are applied on enemies.

2. Rarity

Priority definitely goes like this: SSR → SR → R

(Though some R and SR characters and Recollection Bits are very helpful, as stated above(the characters).

For SR and R Recollection Bits, I would recommend:

• "Malevolent Shrine"
• "Perfect Synchronization"
• "Live a Long Life"
• "Preparation Activities" (Taunt)
• "Dumbfounded" (Taunt)

Your team comp should look like this:

Slot 1 should be a support unit (a stat buffer like SR Yaga).

Slot 2 should be another support unit (DMG increase buffer like SR Nanami, or DMG Taken Increase like Yellow Megumi or Red Mai).

Slot 3 should be a sub-DPS who can be a stat debuffer/DMG Taken Increase debuffer like SR Gakuganji.

Note: Support unit slots are almost interchangeable, but it depends on whether they deal DMG or not. For example, Red Mahito is both a support and a DPS, so it's better to prioritize him in a later slot, such as Slot 3.

Always put your main DPS at the end (Slot 4) so that they can benefit more from the debuffs and supports.

Try to gather a unit for each slot for each color.

SR Yaga, SR Nanami, and SR Gakuganji will help you so much as a novice player until you gather supports for each color (they work for any color).

For the backup slot, you can put another DPS that can replace one of your main units if they die.

You can also use one of the 4 main slots for a utility unit, such as a CE or Ult Gauge provider. They can provide their utility and then die on Turn 1 or 2, allowing another unit from the backup slot to replace them.

This can be especially useful when you only need a unit for their utility rather than their damage or survivability.

1.Always focus on making complete teams for each color.

2.ALSO IMPORTANT: Don't put 4 DPS in the team.

Rule: 3 supports and 1 DPS only, or 2 supports, 1 sub-DPS, and 1 main DPS.

Here, I'm adding only the most important support units to have(the dash between the units means that both perform the same job) :

Yellow

Shoko/Summer Gojo/SP Junpei (stat buffer) , Uraume/ Yaga(stat debuffer) / Kusakabe and Uraume as well(DMG buffers) / Incomplete Domain Megumi (DMG taken increase debuff)

Green

Shoko / Miwa SP buffed (stat buff), Green Geto / Summer Megumi (stat debuffer), SR Nishimiya/ Free Culling Games Yuji (DMG buff ), Choso / New Ino (DMG Taken Increase debuffer)

Blue

Miwa SP / Yaga (stat buff), Nishimiya(DMG buff) , Miguel/toge/ kamo SP (stat debuff), Geto SP or Blue Mai (DMG Taken Increase debuffer)

Red

Nishimiya and Yaga (stat buff) , Nanami (DMG buff) or Teen Nanami ,Inumaki/ Megumi (Stat debuff) Mahito, Red Mai, and Domain Gojo(DMG Taken Increase )

Recollection Bits

Recollection Bits are essentially the game's memorial/equipment cards that you attach to characters.

They provide:

• Stats for your character
• Passive effects
• Battle effects/skills
• Sometimes effects that are particularly useful for certain character roles

Think of them as an extra layer of character building: your character + their Recollection Bit = the actual build.

What should a new player prioritize?

Prioritize:

• Leveling your best characters
• Getting ACTUALLY useful Recollection Bits
• Upgrading the Bits you actually NEED
• Matching effects to the character's role(VERY IMP)
• Building a small number of strong teams rather than upgrading everything

A common beginner mistake is spreading resources across every character and every Bit.

I would advise you as a new player to use the Phantasmal Orb on a good character to help you finish story events early.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT MISTAKE: Don't get fooled by this: automatically equipping a higher-rarity (SSR) Bit if its effect is completely useless for that character. I will list an example here.

Effect > rarity in certain situations.

Most new players use F2P memories with the wrong effects and put them on the wrong units (for example, "Pride" on Yuji or a CE recovery memory like "Imaginary youth" on Toji or Maki).

Quick Guide: What Effects Go With Who?

Generally:

DPS → Jujutsu or Taijutsu stat increase(depends on the DPS role) / DMG increase / Crit Rate increase

Support → Buffs and debuffs / CE recovery / HP recovery/ ULT gauge recovery or rate increase

Tank units(i think that's what they are called) like R Kaito and Inumaki → Taunt Recollection Bits

If you don't know which Recollection Bit to equip on your character, check the Formation tab at the bottom, then go to Enhance Character and select the unit you want. Under their name, you'll find a box that says Character Details. It will recommend the most useful Bits for that character.

If you don't have any of the recommended Bits, check the Bits you have and look for ones with similar effects.

Summoning

As F2P or even P2W, you should always prioritize limited characters(for the most part). However, don't always skip characters that are waited to be added to standard banner if your box desperately needs them or if they are so good( For example, I needed a really good stat debuffer, so I summoned on Megumi who boosted my red team although he is standard)

Redrawable Ticket: general consensus is to pick Blue Gojo,but get Green Yuji if you don't have the Free Culling Games Yuji.

For P2W players, I am F2P, so I don't want to say anything or give any advice that might be wrong. Usually, save your paid cubes for SSR Guaranteed Selectors or the daily pulls on a character you need so much. PLZZZ DON'T USE UR PAID CUBES ON THE STARTER PAID BANNERS THAT OFFER OG UNITS LIKE GREEN PANDA, BLUE MEGUMI,RED MAKI, ETC. (idk what these banners are called but they are the ones that have "steps")

Reruns are happening now, so make sure to pick up who you need the most.

Also, there is a wishlist banner coming to Global, possibly in 2–3 months, that will offer you some of the best units to build up your account. It is the best chance to create a very broken account. All units are standard(Up to kenjaku). No limited ones.

I would recommend you prioritize the ones not added to standard yet (Naobito up to Kenjaku).

Priorities

Red: Nishimiya / Megumi / Kenjaku or Toji

Blue: Yaga or Miwa SP / Blue Toge/ Nanami SP

Green: Choso / Green Nanami / Geto

Yellow: Shoko / Yaga/ Megumi/Uraume/Kusakabe/ Teen Gojo or Toji

However, you do you. Check what your box is missing and summon for it. It may be out of who I mentioned.

While this may not be the most clear and quick guide, I hope it is comprehensive and easy to understand. Disclaimer: I'm not a day 1 player, so this is based on the knowledge I've picked up from playing for around 9 months. I hope I'm not just out here larping as a veteran 💀

So on JP, the Todo map event, the Mahoraga raid, and the Nobara missions, and Ijichi's story event all happened before the summer units leave. Will the same happen for us or will we get the cubes after the summer units leave? I need cubes to pity summer Megumi. What do you guys think cuz their banners are leaving in 5 days I guess.
