Hi! Has anyone here participated in the AUB Math Olympiad before?
I recently found out about it on my own since my school never mentioned it, and I already applied independently through the website. So I’m basically going into this with no guidance or preparation from my school.
I wanted to ask anyone who’s done it before what I should expect. Like, what kind of questions are usually on it and what should I focus on studying? How did you prepare for it?
I’m also not really sure how to know if I’m at the right level for something like this, so I’d love to hear what your math level/background was when you participated.
Honestly any advice, resources, past papers, or just your experience with it would be really helpful. Thank you!!

Hi! I’m a high school student in Lebanon looking for extracurricular/volunteering opportunities, competitions, NGOs, or anything that could help strengthen my profile for merit scholarships.
The problem is I have less than a month before applications 🫣 and I also have school + I’m studying for the SAT, so I’m looking for things that are realistic to join/start now and don’t require a huge time commitment.
Any recommendations in Lebanon or online would be really appreciated, especially if you’ve been through the scholarship/application process yourself. Thanks!

What SAT score should I aim for if I want a 100% scholarship at AUB? Also, are there any donor-funded or external scholarships I should look into? If anyone here got a scholarship, what score did you get and what did you do?
