Revive Search. Windows Phone Search replacement. (Beta)
I am excited to announce Revive Search BETA under The Revive Project. u/TheReviveProject
Replicating the Windows Phone 8 search app, it's familiar and looks native. Right now the Search Engine is based on Bing & iTunes. It scraps the bing search and decodes them to show web search results. Music Search uses iTunes API to search for Artists, lyrics, songs and albums. It also supports Bing daily wallpaper! The app is also featured on the Live Store which made me very proud lol. Try and see it for yourself :) (there will be Windows and RT versions as well 👀) Here is the full description of the app:
Web Search.
Search the web. Find anything. In a familiar way.
Revive Search replicates the search app found on Windows Phone 8.1, just type what you want to find and as you type QuickSuggest will give you search queries. Search and it will highlight the exact matches. Based on your search QuickResult will give you fast info. Not what you're looking for? Dig deeper by clicking the load more results button.
Image Search.
Search the web. Visually.
Revive Search also does images. Simply swipe to the images section from the Panorama UI et voilà! Click the grid icon to change the view. Want more? Load more results. Found what you're looking for? Click download to save it to your photos. Now higher quality.
Music Search.
Search. Musically.
Revive Search now does music. Click the music icon found on the main page. That lyric you can't get out of your head can be found with Music Search. Search artists, lyrics, songs. Find the music you're searching as you type with QuickSuggest. View album tracklist, song lyrics and save them for easy access. Tap the artist name and read their Wiki with QuickResult. See your Saved music on the app and also on the Start Screen with Live Tile.
Daily Wallpapers.
Bing Wallpapers. View last 8 Wallpapers in a beautiful gallery.
Revive Search now supports Daily Wallpapers from Bing. Click on the Wallpapers icon on the main page and view high quality wallpapers from the last 8 days. See their description and credits, download them. You can also view the wallpaper from your Start Screen with Live Tile.
Revive Search will be updated on the Live Store and on the upcoming Revive page. Please check updates regularly so as not to miss out. Amazing features are imminent. Can't wait to show you them. The app is on beta and reviews and feedbacks are very appreciated!!!
