Apple tree damage.

So I had a bit of a tragedy today, as part of my very heavy laden apple tree split away and came right off the trunk 😭

My question is this, can I do anything to the main tree to help it recover? Picture 1 is what the trunk looks like. The tree is approx 4yrs old and has given fruit since year 2, with this year producing SO much that all the branches are hanging very low, as seen in picture 2. It is the big tallest bit in pic 2 that's come off.

Thank you all in advance for any advice you can give me.

Butt on onion flower.

I was away for a week and all my onions flowered, which means they're now inedible. However, the flowers are great for the pollinators, so its not all bad news. Ive seen SO many Bees on the flowers 😊🧡🖤🧡

Badges!

Hello all, joined up a few months ago and am finally getting around to posting. I have a badge maker, and I like to reuse/upcycle materials, so a few years ago I started to make badges using security envelopes. Eventually I also turned these into fridge magnets, and keyrings.

Here's a wee photo of some of the first ones I made.
