I filed my VAWA (Form I-360) in March 2026. Then I filed my Adjustment of Status (I-485), Employment Authorization (I-765), and Advance Parole (I-131) in May 2026.
I have already received my receipt notices and completed my biometrics for the I-485, I-765, and I-131. My priority date is April 2026.
For those who filed under VAWA with a pending I-485, how long did it take to receive your work permit (EAD) after biometrics?

I received appointment notices for all 3 applications (I-485, I-765 EAD, and I-131 Advance Parole). However, I did not receive a separate biometrics appointment for my I-360 (VAWA)
Is this normal?
Also, how long does it usually take to receive the work permit after completing biometrics?
My priority date for the EAD is May 29, 2026. My abuser is a lawful permanent resident

VAWA was sent in March, and I received the receipt notice about 2 weeks later. My fingerprints are already in the system from 2023. I have not received any email or notice saying that USCIS reused my fingerprints, and I have not received a new biometrics appointment either.

Is this normal? How soon after filing VAWA did you receive a fingerprint reuse notice or a biometrics appointment notice?

Hi everyone

I filed VAWA on my own and I already received my VAWA receipt notice. My priority date is March 2026. My abuser is a green card holder.

I want to ask if I can now file Form I-485 (adjustment of status) and also apply for a work permit based on my VAWA case.

Has anyone in a similar situation done this before? What was your experience and timing?
