#ANNOUNCEMENTS

Event Notes

  • It is possible to get the fast dragon first.
  • WARNING: Opening the L6 Fireworks Cannon (the Infinite Harvestable) lock is required to complete the Event Quests.
  • Some key item materials are locked behind other keys further up the board.
  • WARNING: The devs have increased the Act 2 difficulty for at least some (and possibly all) players; so far, it seems centered on increased tile healing requirements, with multiple players reporting 18-20 L9 Life Orbs required to fully heal the map.
  • EVENT GLITCH: Some players in recent events have had empty tiles where key event items should have been; if this happens to you, please report it to Game Support — the number of tickets raised by players heavily affects the priority given to fixing a problem.

News and Updates:

  • NEW FREEBIES: A new promotion, the 4 Days of 4th July Gifts, will offer a free daily item July 1-5 in the game’s webstore.
  • NEW BETA: A new mini-event called Dragon Rescue has been released to a very, very small number of test players. Reminder: Please use Spoiler tags and the “New and/or Beta” flare when posting about major new features or beta tests like this.
  • GLITCH: Long run times may cause severe lagging and sudden crashes; hard-closing the game and relaunching gives a temporary fix. Rebooting is even better, and highly recommended at least once per day if these issues are occurring.
  • GLITCH: Event and Season Portal tasks involving nests, eggs, or dragons may not register properly.
  • GLITCH: Dragon images and labels may be incorrect in camp, with dragons looking like a completely different breed or level than what is on their label. Dragon/egg numbers continue to not always show accurately in the Discovery Book.
  • NOTICE: Imgur, the image hosting site used for many of the guide screenshots, is not currently available in the UK unless you use a VPN.
  • BETA: Ancient Dreamwood is a new camp-based item related to the Prize Hunt mini-event that was recently released to a small number of early beta testers. It provides the opportunity to collect a daily reward item, with the value of said reward item increasing as Prize Hunt (formerly known as Bunny Bingo) goals are achieved. wiki link Reminder: Please use Spoiler tags and the “New and/or Beta” flare when posting about major new features or beta tests like this.
  • BETA: Daily Dash is a task-based rewards system accessed from camp; Daily Goals refresh every 24 hours, and the Weekly Progress resets at 19:00 GMT on Mondays.
  • BETA: Item Storage Now out to most players, this new feature grants item storage in a similar fashion to the Egg Storage Facility. NOTE: There have been numerous glitches reported for this feature; numbers listed on the storage facility may be inaccurate, and it may discharge items when you exit camp. Initial Post
  • BETA: Camp Dawnvale The testing pool continues to expand as devs work out the kinks in the new secondary camp; WARNING: once a player gets access to this feature, it will affect the possible rewards offered by events or other features. Wiki page Reminder: Please use Spoiler tags and the “New and/or Beta” flare when posting about major new features or beta tests like this.
  • REMINDER: If you are experiencing technical issues, please contact Game Support with a description of the problem, where it occurred (if in an event, please name it and if it’s an OoC, please specify Act 1 or 2), approximately when it occurred, and (if possible) attach a recording or screenshot(s) of the issue. Programmers need official support tickets to start an investigation, and having multiple players reporting on the same problem lets them directly compare affected accounts.

#EVENT FAQs

  • The Event Shop and Capsules appear after healing 20-70 tiles; after that a free Bronze Capsule can be collected every 3 hours.
  • It takes 5 to 6 level 9 Life Orb of the Heavens to clear all the 5k+ land, depending on how much you heal by merging items off dead land.
  • To collect both the full set of Points Prizes and any level of Rush Rewards, you will need to earn 29,950 points.
    • Reaching this amount requires 1x Level 9 points item, 1x L8 item, 2x L7 items, and 2x L6 items (or just aim for 2x L9 points items).
  • There’s usually enough material to merge by 3s when making Key items.
  • The Gold Capsule, Fallen Star, and Tanzanite Nest are usually hiding near the far edge of the map, on tiles requiring 50k energy to heal.
  • Caves must be tapped to spawn an Event Zomblin; only one Zomblin lives in each cave, and if the cave is destroyed before being tapped it will not spawn anything useful. When an Event Zomblin is killed, it spawns Stinky Cheese that can be harvested to start the Spirit Lantern chain, which feeds into the Spirit Rose chain, which produces Dark Roses and the Spectral Rose Bush.
  • Infinite Harvestables:
    • There are usually 9x Level 1, 3x L2, 1x L3, 2x L4, and 2x L5 Infinite Harvestables on the map; you can delete one level 1 and one level 2 and still have enough to make a level 6, as long as you 5-merge whenever possible.
    • WARNING: Opening the L6 Fireworks Cannon (the Infinite Harvestable) lock is required to complete the Event Quests.
  • Limited Harvestables:
    • Each 1x2 Double Roast can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
    • Each harvest of the big 2x2 Feast Pit at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra Double Roast.
    • Once all available Double Roasts and the Feast Pit are gone, there is no way to get more.
  • Strategy Advice:
    • Spending money or gems is NEVER required to complete Act 1 of an event, nor is using an auto-clicker or other exploits — not even for the Rush Rewards. Act 2 Point rewards can be earned without any exploits, but Event Quests likely cannot for the higher difficulty type maps.
    • The number and level of possible reward items is determined by your Event Portal level; working to raise that to its maximum of L16 is one of the best ways to boost your overall progress in the game
    • For beginners, a good basic introduction to events is available here on the Fandom Wiki; there’s also some Wiki event guides and tips articles here and here, and a whole collection of general guides and tutorials here
    • Additional general event strategy advice (active vs passive or idle play, etc) can be found in the Community FAQ and in these threads: Link 1, Link 2, Link 3, and Link 4, Link 5.
    • For active players wanting more dragons, the Prism Flower method is a good option: Link 1, Link 2, Link 3. Note: this technique is only for active play; since only 2 dragons at a time will harvest when left on their own, having more will actually slow down idle harvesting.
    • A strategy using the Hills chain here can greatly increase Life Flower production, but it usually takes a few gems (maximum of 80, but less if you get some in capsules).
  • Similar previous events:

#Act 2 FAQs

  • Act 2 is an expanded version of standard Out-of-Camp events available to players with at least 5,000 dragon power; it allows players to replay the current event at a higher difficulty level for extra rewards as soon as they finish the original version (aka Act 1). The Act 2 start screen appears as soon as you earn the 10^th Points reward; you can choose to remain in Act 1, but once you begin Act 2 you cannot go back. Players that return to Act 1 can move on at any time by tapping the “Act 2” button under the event name.
    • NOTE: The very first time a player activates Act 2, a tutorial start screen appears with no option to return to Act 1.
  • Maps: The maps follow the same general layout as Act 1, with an increased healing requirements for most tiles. Early Life Flower/Orb keys may be upgraded, grasses are replaced with Life Orbs, and Life Flowers given a higher level. Infinite Harvestables and key items are in the same locations as Act 1; Healing Goddesses are sprinkled around the map, but have little impact on progress — even the top levels are too weak to have much effect.
  • Points:
    • Act 2 currently requires 30,212 total points to finish, or about two level 9 point items (but check the comments section b/c the devs are still tweaking things here)
  • Healing: The devs appear to still be adjusting the requirements for healing the full map; reports have ranged anywhere from 10-14 level 9 Life Orbs, up to 18-20, with the most recent being at the higher end. Note: Since healing the full map is not required, few players here attempt it)
  • Booster Chests: Opening Event Chests, Capsules, and Dimension Jars and purchasing items from the store in Act 1 yield points that earn bonus items for use in Act 2. NOTE: Booster Chest point requirements may still be undergoing adjustments by the devs. WARNING: A glitch may cause unusable point or generator items from previous events to appear in capsules in place of the current theme’s items.
  • Gold Pass: The Act 1 Gold Pass does not carry over to Act 2, which has its own, separate Gold Pass available for purchase at the same price; you can buy one, both, or neither.
  • Event Quests: Event Quest progress is reset upon entry to Act 2, and task difficulty increases significantly.
  • Strategy Advice: Most OoC strategies work, but since healing takes more energy, progress can be very slow; staying to finish the Event Quests in Act 1 is recommended unless an error makes that impossible.
    • The simplest strategy is to heal and clear out the low-energy tiles near the start, then merge up and idle farm a pair of level 2 Infinite Harvestables; point rewards can comfortably be finished in a day if mass-merging 1-2 times per hour.
    • Merging up to a pair of level 3 IH will speed up progress, but the difficulty of this varies by map design and placement of the existing L2 IH.
    • Remaining in Act 1 long enough to earn the level 4 Infinite Harvestable may pay off by allowing a single dragon to harvest points with minimal land clearance; this is especially useful in cases where the L1 and L2 IH are difficult to clear, but recent changes to the booster point system may make this impractical for many… and lately there’s a glitch that has prevented some from getting the correct IH.
    • Prism Flowers cannot be purchased from the store, but seeds and sprouts are randomly included in some Bronze Capsules.

#SAVING YOUR PROGRESS

  • Make sure to save your progress by traveling to the World Map screen (and waiting there until everything’s fully loaded) regularly, and especially before closing your game.
  • Exiting directly from the event level to your Camp can trigger a crash and/or loss of items; always exit to the World Map screen first, and again after releasing prize items into your camp, as well as after merging high-level or valuable dragons/items.

#EVENT TROUBLESHOOTING

If the event is not showing up correctly or if glitches are affecting your play:

  1. Check that you meet the version and dragon power requirements.
  2. Try hard-closing and then relaunching your game.
  3. Try rebooting your device (ie, turn it completely off, then back on and allow it to fully boot up before relaunching the game). If you are on wifi and have access to the router, try rebooting that, too.
  4. Try switching to a completely different internet source.
  5. Try clearing your game’s cache (google for instructions for your specific phone type).
  6. If you’re suddenly experiencing multiple issues like lagging or error messages (or if the event vanishes completely), close the game and try again after 2-3 hours. Events are internet-based, and sometimes issues with the servers can cause temporary problems — all we can do for that is to wait it out.
  7. If none of the above helps, contact Gram Games Support through the in-game link or the Support Web Portal for help figuring out what’s wrong; please include the name of the event and whether the problem is with Act 1 or 2. If you use email, you’ll need your game ID and version number, both of which can be copied for pasting from the Settings tab, or (if you can’t get into the game at all) by hand from the game’s loading screen.

Chronic Problems

  • Cloud Save is still unreliable: Multiple players have confirmed Cloud Save is still 1) wiping out player progress without warning, and 2) hitting some players with intermittent saving failure messages, esp when using Facebook IDs. According to the last official statements from the developers, it is not safe to be used and should be left turned off, though Game Support may say otherwise - use at your own risk. (First reported ~2019, got much worse Oct 2022; confirmed still happening in 2026 but less common than it used to be)
  • Event level only shows clouds If your event screen shows only clouds instead of the map, check that you are zoomed all the way out. If you are and it still won’t show, try collecting one of the free Bronze Capsules (you may need to wait for the timer to count down).
  • Items appearing from past events Sometimes capsules or booster chests may contain items from the previous OoC event, especially if it was new or nearly new; these items are not usable and can be deleted. (First reported 2023, got worse in mid-2025)
  • Changing Rewards Event rewards may change during play in multiple types of events, with the devs essentially telling players “so sad, too bad” and not giving any compensation. If it hits, you can send in a report to get it on the record, but issues with changing rewards have been around since 2024 and the devs seem unwilling and/or unable to fix the faulty programming.

#Act 2 FAQs

  • Act 2 is an expanded version of standard Out-of-Camp events available to players with at least 5,000 dragon power; it allows players to replay the current event at a higher difficulty level for extra rewards as soon as they finish the original version (aka Act 1).

#ANNOUNCEMENTS

Event Notes

  • This is a brand new theme, so guide info will be crowd-sourced in the comments below and edited into the main post as soon as possible. If you discover something new, please share it below!
  • If anyone wants to contribute screenshots of lock areas immediately after they’ve been opened, please share the images in the comments — they’ll be edited into this guide as soon as possible.
    • Still looking for pics behind the L5 Moonflower, L7 Apollo's Bloom, L2 Bricks, and L5 Amphorae locks,, and for the total number of map tiles
  • It is possible to get the fast dragon first, but needs a hefty dose of luck.
  • NOTE: An L6 Infinite Harvestable (the Grand Dragonia Cup) is used as a key, but it’s not necessary for that lock to be opened to complete the Event Quests, and low-level IH can safely be deleted.
  • WARNING: Some early reports have said 5-merging may be required for key items, or at the least it will help speed up progress.
  • WARNING: This map may require more life energy than usual to heal everything; an early report stated 7 or 8 level 9 life orbs were needed, instead of the usual 5 to 6.
  • WARNING: The devs have started tweaking Act 2 difficulty again, and def not in a player-friendly way.
  • EVENT GLITCH: Some players in recent events have had empty tiles where key event items should have been; if this happens to you, please report it to Game Support — the number of tickets raised by players heavily affects the priority given to fixing a problem.

News and Updates:

  • FREEBIES: The game’s 9th birthday celebration is kicking off with a 9-day series of free gifts in the Official Webstore
Wiki page
    • Serious issues with camp access/playability are plaguing the most recent group release; a patch is supposedly coming soon.

  • Prize Hunt, aka Bunny Bingo: Held with all weekend OoCs and some (usually holiday) mid-weeks, with occasional limited-access mid-week A/B tests for VIP Club members. WARNING: This event REQUIRES players to spend gems and/or make cash purchases, with the latter most frequently seen in the VIP versions.
    • Tapping a square brings up the specific task requirements.
    • Dragons must be created by merging up to the target level in camp to count for “get” tasks.
    • “Level chests” aka “chests from world map levels” refers to the Bountiful Chests gained by completing levels.
    • Dragon Shrine Chests must be purchased for 200 gems each.

  • Ezra's Relic Run: 7 to 14 day long event with no predictable schedule as yet; all past event items other than the final Memento reward are supposed to vanish from camp, although they have yet to do so. WARNING: This event may require players to spend gems and/or make cash purchases to complete, and has proven rather buggy at times.
  • Quinn’s Lucky Games, aka Spin-the-Wheel: Testing has restarted, but little has changed; it’s still a standard online gambling format, complete with a guaranteed big win at first to give you a nice dopamine high and make you feel “lucky”.

#EVENT FAQs

  • The Event Shop and Capsules appear after healing 20-70 tiles; after that a free Bronze Capsule can be collected every 3 hours.
  • It usually takes 5 to 6 level 9 Life Orb of the Heavens to clear all the 5k+ land, depending on how much you heal by merging items off dead land.
    • WARNING: See Event Notes
  • To collect both the full set of Points Prizes and any level of Rush Rewards, you will need to earn 29,950 points.
    • Reaching this amount requires 1x Level 9 points item, 1x L8 item, 2x L7 items, and 2x L6 items (or just aim for 2x L9 points items).
  • There’s usually enough material to merge by 3s when making Key items.
    • WARNING: See Event Notes
    • NOTE: An L6 Infinite Harvestable (the Grand Dragonia Cup) is used as a key, but it’s not necessary for that lock to be opened to complete the Event Quests, and low-level IH can safely be deleted.
  • Consumable/Limited Harvestables:
    • Each 1x2 Glimmering Blimp can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
    • Each harvest of the big 2x2 Miniature Stadium at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra Glimmering Blimp.
    • Once all available Glimmering Blimps and the Miniature Stadium are gone, there is no way to get more.
  • Dragonia Cup Event theme’s main wiki page
  • Similar previous events: None

  • There are 500-energy tiles behind some locks, including very early ones.
  • Life Orb energy will travel safely over locked areas to heal the open dead land beyond it.
  • WARNING: The devs have started tweaking Act 2 difficulty again, and def not in a player-friendly way.

  • There’s enough material to merge by 3s when making Key items.
    • There are 9x Level 1, 3x L2, 1x L3, 2x L4, and 2x L5 Infinite Harvestables (Birthday Cakes) on the map; you can delete one level 1 and one level 2 and still have enough to make a level 6, as long as you 5-merge whenever possible.
    • NOTE: An L6 Infinite Harvestable (the Castle Cake) is used as a key, but since there is no dead land behind it or the Amphorae lock, opening is not necessary to complete the Event Quest tasks, and low-level IH are safe to delete.
  • Consumable/Limited Harvestables:
    • Each 1x2 Cake Banquet can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
    • Each harvest of the big 2x2 Cake Feast at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra Cake Banquet.
    • Once all available Cake Banquets and the Cake Feast are gone, there is no way to get more.

#ANNOUNCEMENTS

Event Notes

  • This is one of the best maps for getting the fast dragon first.
  • WARNING: Opening the L6 Botanical Biome (the Infinite Harvestable) lock is required to complete the Event Quests.
  • A spare Tiny Spirit Vial is located behind the Cute Bloomling lock.
  • Life Orb energy will travel safely over locked areas to heal the open dead land beyond it.
  • While this map is larger than most, it still takes the standard amount of energy to heal.
  • If anyone wants to contribute screenshots of lock areas immediately after they’ve been opened, please share the images in the comments — they’ll be edited into this guide as soon as possible.
    • Still looking for pics behind the Gaia Statue, Botanical Biome, Broadleaf Autumn Tree, Apollo's Bloom, Mystery Nest, Star, and Golden Capsule locks.

MEGATHREAD: EE: Starbloom Vale, June 16-19

With thanks to all who have contributed to this guide!

This Elemental Event will run from Tuesday, June 16 until 19:00 GMT on Friday, June 19; to participate you will need version 13.7.0 or later, at least 100 dragon power, and a high quality, stable internet connection.

Please keep event-specific questions and discussions in this thread; good luck and happy merging!

#ANNOUNCEMENTS

Event Notes

  • This is a repeat of an early beta test of the Elemental Events; the EE event format was still going through significant changes (and glitches) at that time, so this version may be a bit different from the first go ‘round
    • Players may or may not have the usual Silver Capsule lock this time… the devs were still doing A/B testing on that in the first edition. UPDATE: So far, all reports say it’s the usual Silver Capsule key
  • NOTE: You may need to update to play; recent EEs have had higher version requirements than has been typical for most other events.
  • REQUEST: Please share your point requirements and Event Portal level in the comments below; we’re trying to put together info on this, but A/B testing and the odd difficulty system has made this a bit of a challenge.
  • WARNING - Points: Players at high difficulty levels may find it impossible to earn enough points to finish the event using only the free harvestable items placed on the map. In the last event, higher-level players could clear the full map and still be ~100,000 points away from earning the final prize.
    • According to responses from Gram Games, this is deliberate — the event is specifically designed to be pay-to-win.
  • WARNING - Capsules: In most recent events, all players have had a Silver Capsule lock, with only a Gold Capsule located on the map; opening this lock therefore requires purchasing a Silver Capsule for 60 gems. An infinite harvestable has typically been located behind that lock, which enables players to continue grinding out points even after all the free harvestables have been exhausted, but it does have a cooldown timer that slows progress.
  • WARNING: Screenshots of the rewards screen at the start of all events are strongly recommended
  • EVENT GLITCH: Some players in recent events have had empty tiles where key event items should have been; if this happens to you, please report it to Game Support — the number of tickets raised by players heavily affects the priority given to fixing a problem.

News and Updates:

  • GLITCH: There have been a lot of players having crashing issues lately; please contact Game Support if it happens to you — the number of complaints helps determine how much attention is paid to an issue.
    • Rebooting your device may help temporarily, along with making sure your processor doesn’t overheat; frequently exiting to the world map screen can save progress, but playing only in very short stretches may be the only option in some cases.
    • Updating to version 13.6.1 may help… there’s not enough reports to get a consensus on that yet.

#EVENT FAQs / OVERVIEW:

NOTE: This format is still being tweaked by the devs, so listed info may or may not hold true for the current event; as always, check the Comments for the latest news on any changes.

Overview

  • Elemental Events (EE) maps are similar to standard Out-of-Camp (OoC) events, with land that needs to be healed to uncover point items and locked areas that need keys to open.
  • The goal for EE is the same as the main objective in OoCs: earn enough points to collect all the prizes listed on the Reward Screen by harvesting, merging, and collecting event point items.
    • Point requirements and event rewards are determined by a calculation involving both a player’s total and average dragon power.
  • Healing all the land is not required, and there is no dead land under locks, but the points hiding in those locked areas may be significant.
    • Items required to make a key are typically hidden under a different lock, requiring players to open areas in a particular order.
  • Unlike OoCs, there are no Event Quests, Act 2, Rush Rewards, or Gold Pass equivalents.
  • Idle Trivia: So far, all EE maps have been re-purposed from OoC-type events in Merge Dragon’s sister game, Merge Magic.

Dragons

  • Instead of hatching two whelp dragons to do the work, players are allowed to “borrow” 3 of their highest level dragons from Camp, one for each element featured in the event.
    • Dragons occupied in levels, Missions, or Breeding may not be available for use in the event; dragons sleeping in dragon homes are still eligible.
  • These imported dragons do the normal OoC event actions of harvesting for life flower material and life orbs for healing land; since there are 3 dragons instead of two, idle-harvesting will be much slower unless you keep one dragon selected.
    • Note: keeping a dragon selected is risky, and could result in loss of the dragon if the game closes or is interrupted; it also makes it much easier to accidentally delete a dragon, and since the EE event borrows from your own camp, any dragon deleted in the event is removed from the game entirely just like if it was sold in camp or a world map level.
  • While high-level dragons may yield more bonus points, their speed has been severely reduced; level 10 platinum dragons may harvest slower than Rock or Tribal whelps.
    • Unfortunately, having 3 level 10 platinum dragons seems to indicate a player will have the unlucky ~100,000+ point deficit on the final reward item after earning all possible free points, meaning such players must pay gems if they want to be sure of finishing the event.
  • Additional dragons may appear when capsules are opened; the exact rules for what you get are not yet understood.

Harvesting Points

  • A major difference in gameplay between OoC and EE events centers on the harvesting of point items; instead of harvesting one type of point item from both limited and infinite harvestable items, there are 3 separate chains of both harvestables and point items — one for each featured element.
  • Infinite harvestables are available for purchase in the event store, and one is usually — but not always — located behind the silver capsule lock.
    • Infinite Harvestables have a cooldown timer that limits how often they can be harvested.
  • Any dragon can work any harvestable, but using the element-linked breed gives a substantial points bonus.
    • Double-tapping a harvestable will summon the correct dragon to it, but if left without direction any dragon can wander over and harvest any unattended harvestable item, so using them up as soon as they are uncovered is critical.
    • It’s not possible to complete the event without use of the element-linked bonus points.
  • So far, extra harvestables have been obtainable in Treasure Chests obtained from harvesting general items like Fruit Trees or Prism Flowers, but drop rates can be very, very low.

Point Requirements:

  • Players at higher difficulty levels will find it impossible to earn enough points to finish the event using only the free harvestable items placed on the map. According to responses from Gram Games, this is deliberate — the event is specifically designed to be pay-to-win.
  • Grinding for Treasure Chests or the free capsules may be enough for some affected players to finish, but others may require gem or cash expenditures to earn enough points to collect all rewards.

Capsules:

  • Similar to OoC events, all Elemental Events have an Event Capsule lock near the start of the map. In early beta tests these were the standard Gold version, with a Gold Capsule located near the back of the map that players could use to open the lock.
  • In most recent events, all players have had a Silver Capsule lock instead of the Gold, but still with just the one Gold Capsule on the map; opening this lock therefore requires purchasing a Silver Capsule for 60 gems.
    • An infinite harvestable has usually been located behind that lock, which enables players to continue grinding out points even after all the free limited harvestables have been exhausted; however, IHs have a delay timer that slows harvesting significantly compared to the standard OoC versions.

  • There’s enough material to merge by 3s when making Key items.
    • There are 9x Level 1, 3x L2, 1x L3, 2x L4, and 2x L5 Infinite Harvestables on the map; you can delete one level 1 and one level 2 and still have enough to make a level 6, as long as you 5-merge whenever possible.
    • WARNING: An L6 Infinite Harvestable (the Inflatable Flamingo) is used as a key, and there is dead land behind it.
  • Consumable/Limited Harvestables:
    • Each 1x2 Sand Sculpture can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
    • Each harvest of the big 2x2 Sand Castle at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra Sand Sculpture.
    • Once all available Sand Sculptures and the Sand Castle are gone, there is no way to get more.

Infinite Harvestables and key items are in the same locations as Act 1; Healing Goddesses are sprinkled around the map, but have little impact on progress.
  • Points:
    • Act 2 currently requires 30,212 total points to finish, or about two level 9 point items (but check the comments section b/c the devs are still tweaking things here)
  • Healing: Recent reports say it’s taking a much lower amount of healing energy to clear the full map than was initially required (down to 10-14 level 9 Life Orbs, from 18-20), but the requirements can change without warning.

MEGATHREAD: Summer Shimmer OoC Event, June 9-12

With thanks to all who have contributed to this guide!

This Out-of-Camp event will run from Tuesday, June 9 until 19:00 GMT on Friday, June 12; to participate you will need version 13.6.0 or later, at least 100 dragon power, and a high quality, stable internet connection.

Please keep event-specific questions and discussions in this thread; good luck and happy merging!

#ANNOUNCEMENTS

Event Notes

  • This event was introduced in 2024 as a new variation on the Summer Delight theme’s items using the Frozen Seas map, with the occasional twist like a Silver rather than Gold capsule.
    • In 2025, all players reported having a Silver Capsule; it remains to be seen if that holds true this year as well.
  • This and the coming weekend event are your best chance to get Cool Dragons (an Arcadia breed), since this theme is usually held only once per year.
  • It is possible to get the fast dragon first.
  • No Infinite Harvestables are used as keys, and it is safe to delete low-level IH if needed.
  • A spare Lost Bud is located near the Gaia Statue lock.
  • EVENT GLITCH: Some players in recent events have had empty tiles where key event items should have been; if this happens to you, please report it to Game Support — the number of tickets raised by players heavily affects the priority given to fixing a problem.

  • There’s enough material to merge by 3s when making Key items.
  • The Gold (or possibly Silver) Capsule, Fallen Star, and Tanzanite Nest are usually hiding near the far edge of the map, on tiles requiring 50k energy to heal.
    • There are usually 9x Level 1, 3x L2, 1x L3, 2x L4, and 2x L5 Summer Shops Infinite Harvestables on the map; you can delete one level 1 and one level 2 and still have enough to make a level 6, as long as you 5-merge whenever possible.
    • NOTE: No Infinite Harvestables are used as keys, and it is safe to delete low-level IH if needed.
  • Consumable/Limited Harvestables:
    • Each 1x2 Posh Summer Bag can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.t
    • Each harvest of the big 2x2 Summer Tent at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra Posh Summer Bag.
    • Once all available Posh Summer Bags and the Summer Tent are gone, there is no way to get more.

#ANNOUNCEMENTS

Event Notes

  • It is possible to get the fast dragon first, but fairly difficult.
  • WARNING: An L6 Infinite Harvestable is required for use as a key to complete the Event Quests.
  • WARNING: There is little, if any, extra key-making material on this map; if something gets deleted or merged too early, you will either need to buy replacements from the store or give up on the Event Quests.
  • NOTE: This theme debuted as part of an A/B test focused on aesthetics, where two different sets of themed items were used with the same map and same rewards; some of the “view” images from behind the locks may still show those alternate themed items, but this has no effect on gameplay.

  • There’s enough material to merge by 3s when making Key items.
    • There are 9x Level 1, 3x L2, 1x L3, 2x L4, and 2x L5 Infinite Harvestables (Terreriums) on the map; you can delete one level 1 and one level 2 and still have enough to make a level 6, as long as you 5-merge whenever possible.
    • WARNING: An L6 Infinite Harvestable (the Sacred Terrarium) is required for use as a key to complete the Event Quests.
    • Each 1x2 Crocodile Pot can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
    • Each harvest of the big 2x2 Elephant Pot at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra Crocodile Pot.
    • Once all available Crocodile Pots and the Elephant Pot are gone, there is no way to get more.

MEGATHREAD: Marvelous Kingdom OoC, June 2-5

With thanks to all who contribute to this guide!

This Out-of-Camp event will run from Tuesday, June 2 until 19:00 GMT on Friday, June 5; to participate you will need version 13.6.0 or later, at least 100 dragon power, and a high quality, stable internet connection.

Please keep event-specific questions and discussions in this thread; good luck and happy merging!

#ANNOUNCEMENTS

Event Notes

  • This is a very player-friendly map design, especially for idle-farming; the large 2x2 limited harvestable is relatively easy to heal by releasing two or three L9 Life Orbs along the far right side of the map.
  • It is possible, but more difficult than usual, to get the fast dragon first.
  • WARNING: Opening the Level 6 Hedge Cat (Infinite Harvestable) lock is required to complete the Event Quests.

  • Ezra’s Relic Run: TBA
  • Seasons: Abundance Festival, May 19 - June 16
  • Card Collection: Seaside Saga, Apr 21 - June 16
    • Level 1 Chance Chests are randomly included in ~20% of Kala’s Daily Trade Rucksacks and Daily Rewards; L2 or L3 do not count.
    • Life Flower Totems cost 160 gems to buy for use in camp; if the task says ‘anywhere’, totems can be tapped for free in levels like Totem Shire 12, Golden Meadow 10 or 19, Spell Shore 3 or 17, and Glacier Falls 5 or 15.
    • The trophy dragon breed required is usually the OoC event’s Secondary Trophy breed (link in guide below); it must be the exact level listed by the task.
  • Races: Tuesday and Sunday Wiki
    • Next Up: Flowers on Tuesday, Rocks on Sunday
  • Shiny Days: Monday and Wednesday Wiki
  • Mystic Challenge: Thursday and Sunday
  • Elemental Events: Now released game-wide, but the scheduling is still uncertain. WARNING: This event requires gem purchases to finish at some difficulty levels.

    • WARNING: A Level 6 Infinite Harvestable (L6 Hedge Cat) is required to be used as a key to complete the Event Quest objectives.
  • Consumable/Limited Harvestables:
    • Each 1x2 Wondrous Banquette can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
    • Each harvest of the big 2x2 Wondrous Mushrooms at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra 1x2 Wondrous Banquette.
    • Once all available 1x2 Wondrous Banquettes and the big 2x2 Wondrous Mushrooms is used up, there is no way to get more.

    • NOTE: Infinite Harvestable key requirements are still to be determined.
  • Consumable/Limited Harvestables:
    • Each 1x2 L3LIMITED can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
    • Each harvest of the big 2x2 L4LIMITED at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra L3LIMITED.
    • Once all available L3LIMITEDS and the L4LIMITED are gone, there is no way to get more.
  • TITLE Event theme’s main wiki page is coming soon!
  • Similar previous events: None

MEGATHREAD: Sakura Blooming OoC Event, May 26-29

With thanks to all who contribute to this guide! !

This Out-of-Camp event will run from Tuesday, May 26 until 19:00 GMT on Friday, May 29; to participate you will need version 13.6.0 or later, at least 100 dragon power, and a high quality, stable internet connection.

#ANNOUNCEMENTS

Event Notes

  • It is relatively easy to get the fast dragon first.
  • WARNING: Opening the L6 Infinite Harvestable (Eternal Kitsune Shrine) lock is required to complete the Event Quests.
  • There are two L2 Infinite Harvestables in the 500 energy tile zone; they’ve caught quite a few players by surprise in past editions.

  • Seasons: Abundance Festival, May 19 - June 16
  • Card Collection: Seaside Saga, Apr 21 - June 16
    • Next Up: Mushrooms on Tuesday, Dragon Trees on Sunday
  • Shiny Days: Monday and Wednesday Wiki
  • Mystic Challenge: Thursday and Sunday
  • Elemental Events: Now released game-wide, but the scheduling is still uncertain. WARNING: This event requires gem purchases to finish at some difficulty levels.

    • WARNING: An L6 Infinite Harvestable (the L6 Eternal Kitsune Shrine) is required for use as a key to complete the final Event Quest.
  • Consumable/Limited Harvestables:
    • Each 1x2 Tranquil Bridge can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
    • Each harvest of the big 2x2 Tranquil Bridge at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra Zen Stronghold.

  • The Gold Capsule, Fallen Star, and Tanzanite Nest are hiding near the far edge of the map, on tiles requiring 50k energy to heal.
    • There are 9x Level 1, 3x L2, 1x L3, 2x L4, and 2x L5 Infinite Harvestables on the map; you can delete one level 1 and one level 2 and still have enough to make a level 6, as long as you 5-merge whenever possible.
    • WARNING: An L6 Infinite Harvestable (the Phantasmal Drake) is required to be used as a key to complete the Event Quests.
  • Consumable/Limited Harvestables:
    • Each 1x2 Crystal Abode can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
    • Each harvest of the big 2x2 Crystal Castle at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra Crystal Abode.
    • Once all available Crystal Abodes and the Crystal Castle are gone, there is no way to get more.

Infinite Harvestables and key items are in the same locations as Act 1; Healing Goddesses are sprinkled around the map, but have little impact on progress.
  • Points:
    • NOTE: Some - but not all - players have recently reported different point values; check the comments for the latest info.
    • For players with the higher values, collecting all 10 reward levels needs ~46,540 points, or the equivalent of 2x level 9 point items plus 1x level 8 and 1x level 7.
    • Players seeing the lower point values will requires 30,212 total points to finish, or about two level 9 point items.
  • Healing: Recent reports say it’s taking a much lower amount of healing energy to clear the full map than was initially required (down to 10-14 level 9 Life Orbs, from 18-20), but the requirements can change without warning.

  • Cloud Save is still unreliable: According to the last official statements from the developers, it is not safe to be used and should be left turned off. (First reported ~2019, got much worse Oct 2022)
    • WARNING: Support is apparently telling some players to use CS, however as of July, multiple players have confirmed Cloud Save is both 1) still wiping out player progress without warning, and 2) continuing to hit some players with intermittent saving failure messages, esp when using Facebook IDs. Use at your own risk.
  • Glitch: Items from past events Sometimes capsules or booster chests may contain items from the previous OoC event, especially if it was new or nearly new; these items are not usable and can be deleted. (First reported 2023, got worse in mid-2025)
  • Glitch: Changing Rewards Event rewards may change during play in multiple types of events, with the devs essentially telling players “so sad, too bad” and not giving any compensation. If it hits, you can send in a report to get it on the record, but issues with changing rewards have been around since 2024 and the devs seem unwilling and/or unable to fix the faulty programming.

MEGATHREAD: Elemental Event: Etherstone Caverns, May 19-22

With thanks to all who contribute to this guide!

This Elemental Event will run from Tuesday, May 19 until 19:00 GMT on Friday, May 22; to participate you will need version 13.4.0 or later 13.6, at least 100 dragon power, and a high quality, stable internet connection.

Please keep event-specific questions and discussions in this thread; good luck and happy merging!

#ANNOUNCEMENTS

Event Notes

  • This is a repeat of an early beta test of the Elemental Events; the EE event format was still going through significant changes (and glitches) at that time, so this version may be quite a bit different from the first go ‘round.
    • WARNING: Last month’s similar repeat had no Infinite Harvestable behind the silver capsule lock; it remains to be seen if it will be there this time.
  • WARNING - Capsules: In recent events, all players have had a Silver Capsule lock, with only a Gold Capsule located on the map; opening this lock therefore requires purchasing a Silver Capsule for 60 gems. An infinite harvestable has typically been located behind that lock, which enables players to continue grinding out points even after all the free harvestables have been exhausted, but it does have a cooldown timer that slows progress.
  • Screenshots of the rewards screen at the start of all events are strongly recommended

News and Updates:

  • Cloud Save is still unreliable: According to the last official statements from the developers, it is not safe to be used and should be left turned off. (First reported ~2019, got much worse Oct 2022)

MEGATHREAD: Slumber Party OoC Event

With thanks to all who contribute to this guide! !

This Out-of-Camp event will run from either Friday, May 15 until 19:00 GMT on Monday, May 18 (for group A), or from Saturday, May 16 to Monday, May 18 (half of group B). To participate you will need version 13.4.0 or later, at least 100 dragon power, and a high quality, stable internet connection.

Please keep event-specific questions and discussions in this thread; good luck and happy merging!

#ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • NOTE: This week’s OoC events are running A/B testing on the theme and event length; Group A players had the usual pair of 3-day events, while Group B had three 2-day events, with two possible themes for both Tuesday and Thursday editions.
  • Group B will get either the Slumber Party Event or the Zen Dragon Event in the 2-day format on Saturday.
  • A Mega-Megathread has been created to keep track of everything.
  • Screenshots of the rewards screen at the start of BOTH ACTS of the event are strongly recommended, as there have been claims of events ending before timers said they would and issues with reward items not appearing correctly.
  • If your event resets or changes, please MESSAGE SUPPORT with screenshots showing what happened; the devs will not investigate without proof. If you don’t have screenshots, make a report anyway to at least get the numbers up (but seriously, take screenshots of at least your rewards screen at the start of every event… it should be automatic at this point).

Event Notes

  • It is possible to get the fast dragon first.
  • WARNING: A L6 Infinite Harvestable is required to be used a key to finish the Event Quests.
  • Overall, this map is very player-friendly, although getting enough material to merge up Life Flowers may take longer than usual.
  • Two level 2 Infinite Harvestables are fairly close together on the left side of the map; great for idle point farming, not so good for life-orb farming.

  • Elemental Events: Now released game-wide, but the scheduling is still uncertain. WARNING: This event requires gem purchases to finish at some difficulty levels.

  • There’s enough material to merge by 3s when making Key items.
  • The Gold Capsule, Fallen Star, and Tanzanite Nest are hiding near the far edge of the map, on tiles requiring 50k energy to heal.
    • There are 9x Level 1, 3x L2, 1x L3, 2x L4, and 2x L5 Infinite Harvestables on the map; you can delete one level 1 and one level 2 and still have enough to make a level 6, as long as you 5-merge whenever possible.
    • WARNING: A L6 Infinite Harvestable is required to be used a key to finish the Event Quests.
  • Consumable/Limited Harvestables:
    • Each 1x2 Counting Sheep can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
    • Each harvest of the big 2x2 Sheep Party at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra Counting Sheep.
    • Once all available Counting Sheeps and the Sheep Party are gone, there is no way to get more.

MEGATHREAD: Surprise Thursday Events

#Aka the MEGA-Megathread

Setting this up now, since we did not get any advance warning from the devs and individual megathreads aren’t going to happen for everything. Will link in past megathreads and guides as we’re made aware of themes in use; please post the exact title of what event you are seeing (and preferably a screenshot) if you are one of the affected players. :)

  • Reminder: player participation/feedback to Support will factor in whether the devs decide to move forward with or re-think the changes.
  • If you don’t like this format, let Support know so they can pass it on to the devs, and then don’t participate
  • The devs do not pay attention to complaints on social media unless it’s a major uproar, and so far is a long way from that.

THIS WEEK’S OoC EVENTS

  • This week’s OoC events are running A/B testing on the theme and event length; Group A players had the usual pair of 3-day events, while Group B had three 2-day events, with two possible themes for each.

  • Pirate’s Plunder (over)

    • 2-day version ran Tuesday to Thursday (Half of Group B)
    • 3-day version ran Tuesday to Friday (Group A)
  • Flower Festival (over)

    • 2-day version ran Tuesday to Thursday (Half of Group B)
    • If anyone has a screenshot showing the 3-day timer, please share it here!
  • Magic School

    • 2-day event running Thursday to Saturday
    • Note: link is to a prior edition megathread
  • Fairy Tale

    • 2-day event running Thursday to Saturday
    • Note: link is to a prior edition megathread
    • This map was previously reported by the company to be permanently retired, due to players overwhelmingly complaining it was the worst design in the game. Make what you will of its reappearance.
  • Slumber Party

    • 3-day version runs Friday to Monday (Group A)
    • 2-day version runs Saturday to Monday (Half of Group B)
  • Zen Dragon

    • 2-day event running Saturday to Monday (Half of Group B)
    • Note: link is to a prior edition megathread

NOTE: At least some 2-day events have had a reduced point requirement, but reports are not consistent; it’s not clear if there’s multiple versions or if it’s due to glitches. If you want to track and share your requirements, the info would be welcome here!
