Bitaroo froze account for making third party transfer
Bitaroo froze a transaction my brother made yesterday to a third party "for his own protection" as it could have been a scam. The transaction has since been cancelled however they have kept his account frozen so he cannot withdraw his coins unless he makes a video and uploads it showing his name, address, DOB, license number, explains his reason for buying btc, shows his hardware wallet and authorises them to send the video to the bank or police.
This is against their terms and conditions which only allow freezing of accounts with reasonable suspicion of unlawful activities being performed.
Obviously he doesn't want to send them all this information which it sounds like they will store indefinitely.
Please be aware and withdraw your coins to your own wallet asap.
