I have been streaming Variety gaming on Twitch for almost a year.

Now I want to add cooking to my stream.

Since I wont need the GPU power for gaming would a laptop be sufficient for a cooking stream. Would I need to add an external video capture?

I would like to do 1-3 cameras and 1-2 wireless mics. I don't have a set budget for the project but Costco is an option. (moving my desktop to the kitchen is not an option)

I have a mulberry tree that I want to utilize. I have set a tarp out to begin to collect them.

I want to know if I can save them daily and add them to a project with the end result being some sort of beverage.

My initial idea was that I could add each days harvest to a jar in the fridge and cover with honey. Once the tree stops producing I could then remove the jar and start fermenting into something??? I have no experience with this kind of thing. Is any part of this idea sensible?
