Hospital is 1.5 hours away. Should I get a hotel room for the night before and after surgery? Also what are some bomb things you had for the ride and recovery? ❤️

I'm getting a Hysterscopy D&C along with a lap since I will already be under anthesia. I'm just wondering if my husband and I should book a hotel room for before and after because we would have at least an hour on the highway and 30 minutes on back roads after my surgery. It sounds awful and my eyebrow lady told me it is a rough recovery. I trust her with my brows so I am taking that comment seriously.

Also I made the mistake of looking up the surgical robot and it wigs me out. It looks like a robot spider. Y'all are the strongest people in the universe 😭❤️🙏

Anybody have surgery on a hunch from the doc?

I just had an appointment with Dr. Romeo Lucas. Oh my lord I still hurt and the exam was two days ago. I spent a year telling myself I'm crazy because my pain could be constipation and just pelvic guarding, but I made the call the next morning when I had right sided pain burst and spread from my abdomen to my right rib. It happens during intercourse and I ly around ovulation. Ovulation is hell week as well.

He said he isn't saying I have endometreosis, but he has a hunch that I may have something like endometreosis or at the very least adenomyosis. He suggested if I want more kids I should have a "clean slate" and hysteroscopy and D&C. He added I could give him permission to do the lap if he found anything suspicious during the hysteroscopy. I'm hesitant on doing the elective surgery for the endometreosis on a hunch. It sounds like a pretty rough recovery. Just curious if anybody else has been in a similar boat.

Dr.Lucas did a very thorough exam. I legit have a bruise on my abdomen. I have pelvic guarding and I think he had to really push to figure things out. When the transvaginal ultrasound wand was pushed downward I had a line of pain straight from my tailbone/butt to my lower back. I just about crawled off the exam table 😭 the past two days have felt like my pain before the real cramps start on my period. The "calm" before the storm if you will. I know if I take Advil for every pain I'm just going to be popping them like candy and my Celiac Disease ass cannot handle that.

Instead I just feel like my intestines are smoldering for most of each month 😅

He suggested progesterone pills (I have HM migraines. Hormonal a no go for me. Interestingly enough these showed up after adhesions too root) he also suggested a vaginal muscle relaxant and pain medication. He also said if he does the surgery and finds nothing he recommended other things to investigate like SIBO because it seemed like several doctors were just ignoring my pain.

I just feel lost 😅

Question ⁉️Nurtec

I am currently sick and I have been alternating Advil and Tylenol every 4 hours for the past three days.

Is it safe to take Nurtec if you have a good amount of Advil and Tylenol in you? 😭

The pain is so bad and I feel like I'm getting zapped randomly on the side of my face and now in my ear.

I keep dragging my nails across my skin to just feel something other than the head pain. Good Lord.
