I bought some really expensive items while I was manic. They aren’t refundable. Can I claim this on my schedule of loss? How does it work where I’ve still got the item? Happy to give to the respondent or their legal rep if that makes any difference.
If I get legal advice but the legal rep is off the record, so as far as tribunal is aware I’m a LIP, therefore I would get the leniency of a tribunal while also getting legal advice. is there anything wrong with this approach?
The respondents solicitor was responsible for leading on the production of the bundle but I’ve raised concerns about the indexing because some files are dated wrong or are labelled wrong. I’ve already raised it with the respondents solicitor but they won’t change it. Should I raise this to the tribunal? Can I continue to refuse to agree to the bundle until I’m completely happy with it (deadline is very soon). Thank you.
Is there a rule/etiquette around graphic descriptions (the kind that could cause secondary trauma to anyone reading) in witness statements?
Also is there a rule on writing swear words in witness statements? Not quotes but as descriptions.
