Has anyone else thought of this?
First of all I just want to say I’m a huge huge fan of the boys with big respect for both Bon and Brian, I really don’t have a favourite.
The thing I’ve been wondering about is regarding who wrote the lyrics on the Back in black album! I know that the official story from the band is all lyrics on the album is made by Brian and the Young brothers. The only thing that doesn’t make sense to me is that the majority of songs have exact same playful storytelling with doublemeanings etc as the songs that bon used to write. (YOU SHOOK for example)
After back in black, I must say that the lyrics changed entirely from being this fun and clever wordplay storytelling to becoming more simple chants about partying, cars and girls. But not with any of the smooth subtle ways that they use to have…
If Brian and the Young’s wrote the album by themselves, why did the lyrics change so dramatically from one album to another?
Has anyone else wondered about this?
