Kitten with injured leg under my house

Hi all!

There is a family of a mom and three kittens living under my house. We get strays a lot so I usually leave them be, but this kitten has either an injured leg or only three legs (can’t tell which one, won’t let me get close)

I feel bad for this little guy and if it is broken fear how little chance he’d have at surviving. Unfortunately I can’t take any more cats in, and am not financially stable enough to get it the help it needs.

I already tried calling LAPS and Heidi’s Animal Rescue but neither have returned my calls. Any other rescue I could get in touch with?

Thanks!

Is this HDHP for me or should I stick to PPO?

I have no idea what I’m doing. Insurance is such a foreign thing to me, when I first got this job I just chose PPO since it was the cheapest out of pocket. However, as I’ve been trying to get more into saving for retirement, I have seen so much talk about HSAs so was thinking about switching to the HDHP plan to have one.

I am generally healthy, but I do have three monthly prescriptions (all generic) and I have to go to the doctors every 6 months to keep those prescriptions going. I have no kids- it’s just me on the plan, but am planning on having a kid in the two or three years and they will go on my health insurance.

My company puts $1500 into the HSA which is nice, but not sure if it’s worth it since I would be paying the full monthly prescription costs and the two doctors appointments a year? I genuinely don’t know how much my prescriptions cost without a copay. I think $30 each?

Any help at all is appreciated. This is all so confusing to me.
