I got 500 of what i was told where euros. I got em july 1st. They are never up at the top and are mostly in the 6 inch layer. Temps are 70-75 all around. They dont try to leave. Im assuming they are euros but some adults are small and the amount of cocoons so early makes me wonder…. They are laying cocoons around an inch or 2 below the too tray layer.
Added some biochar, and raw microbes to my tower. Along side some old casting i found from my last run.
The bottom tray is just ripped up newspaper to keep moisture down. I have 3 days of straying with the microbes before they go south so i added air to help dry it back up after each spray. Anyone else add air to your bins like this? Debating on leaving it.
The bottom of my bird cage gets full fast. So i thought id break it down before feeding it to my worms. I added some coco coir, newspaper, and juice from my worms tower. This is 4 days later. I toss it daily. Its getting pretty hot!
