Capcom logic: Makes an actual creative sci-fi game like Pragmata, immediately panics, and runs back to copy-pasting code veronica zombies for the 100th time.

Honestly, we deserve this.

Capcom just announced the Resident Evil: Veronica Remake (they even dropped the "Code" part to make it look like a holy grail main game, lmao). And of course, the brainless gamer community is already drooling and getting their wallets ready to pay 70 bucks for the exact same bio-terror, gore, and mutated monster loop they’ve been swallowing for 30 years.

The funny thing is, Capcom actually proved they can make cool, original stuff when they took a risk with Pragmata. But instead of using their brains and investing more into unique, intelligent worlds, they looked at the sales and said: "Wait, why are we trying hard when these sheep will literally buy any dark corridor covered in zombie bile?"

Now they are bringing it in a first-person camera just to shove the same rotting, disgusting details down our throats again. And we will happily pre-order it like good little cash cows.

Stop rewarding corporate laziness. If we keep buying every unnecessary remake, they will never fully commit to anything new. Don't pre-order RE Veronica. Let them actually work for our money for once.
