Should I read the manga before the movie comes out?

I’ve watched the entire anime and only read a few chapters of the manga. The art is amazing. If I choose to read the manga, I’d probably start from chapter 1. Is it worth it to get caught up before the movie comes out or go in blind and THEN get caught up?
