Doesn’t the New Season Usually Start in Sept??

I haven’t heard a peep about the next season - has anyone else?

Pretty sure they did confirm they were filming another one, which is wild considering content was bone-dry during S20…but I feel like we’ve usually heard something by now.

I Have to Leave My Dog Alone for 9-10 Hours ONCE

I have an urgent need I have to take care of tmrw with my family and most friends out of town or unable to watch my dog. So, my basset will have to be left home alone for up to 10 hours, at least 8.

I have a fully fenced yard she will have access to, will leave plenty of food and water (water inside and outside bc it’ll be 82 degrees. And plenty of shade plus fans running (my portable AC isn’t set up yet, and I don’t have my toolbox shipped from my recent move yet). And I haaaate mornings, but I’m going to get up at 7am on a Sunday to take her to the dog park first. Least I can do!

I feel bad especially bc she has some anxiety that’s been touch and go lately, but something came up and she doesn’t like strangers nor does she always love walks with anyone other than my mom bc she’s a particular little boo (I found the one dog pickier than me), so I can’t hire Rover to take her on a walk like I did when she was a puppy and I would have days in court where I needed support.

Do you think she’ll be ok? She doesn’t bark or get separation anxiety when left alone. But she’s usually alone for only up to a few hours at once. But she has successfully stayed home during the day on occasion. (My mom is retired and usually watches her, but she’s traveling with my sister and her family).

I wouldn’t do this more than once, but bc she has anxiety and this isn’t her norm + it’ll be warmer than usual, I feel really bad. It’s not an emergency surgery, but it’s an important one-time need.

▲ 6 r/eczema

Hi all, 38f here who just got my very first adult outbreak of eczema almost a year ago. (I had eczema on my groin, insides-of-elbows and underarms as a child…but my dad died at 6, and ultimately the doctors believed trauma/stress from that was the “cause.” I know there’s a genetic component, but I mean the triggering event)

Anyway, I’ve been seeing a dermatologist for 6 months and she isn’t sure of the trigger for my outbreaks.

But I’ve become more conscious of patterns and when I break out (eyelids and around eyes mostly, sometimes neck and lower face)

And I haaaaaate to admit this, but when I stop using skincare products like BHA, AHA, adapalene, azelaic acid, vitamin C, etc. my eyes/eyelids inevitably break out.

I know that sounds dumb to keep voluntarily using products when they seemed tied to this miserable fucking illness, but my self care for mental health is based on mostly on skin care, and tbh I used to do modeling, so I’m probably way too aware of aging and looks. It’s like a compulsive, addictive, anxiety thing - like how some people pick their face, I can’t seem to control not using exfoliants and other active ingredients.

Has anyone else had this experience??? And if so, how do you clear up acne outbreaks or other skin issues when you can ONLY use boring af skincare like basic vanicream or Cetaphil face wash?

Thank you!!
