I’m 20 from California planning to join the army for 17C cybersecurity specialist and already did MEPS. I got a 86 on ASVAB 70 on Cyber test and passed my medical only got 1 wavier (astigmatism) got it cleared. I’m now reconsidering if I should go to the Air Force and take my chances for a cybersecurity job there since the Army I’m guaranteed the mos. I have a favorable chance for security clearance never been in trouble with law got a 790 credit score, wife and 2 kids and adopted no family in foreign country. So wondering if I should go Air Force or stay with Army I know both aren’t bad but just want a bit of food for thought on the decision.
