Any thoughts on what's being said here?

With the recent news of the Liberal government pushing forward in their promise to build more nuclear power plants, I've been wondering what the party's official stance on nuclear power is.

Personally, I believe that the NDP should be supportive of nuclear energy, as it is a clean energy that can generate a lot of power. Furthermore, with Lewis' election as party leader and the party's shift to greater environmentalism, promotion of nuclear policies would fit with the program over the current government's push for more fossil fuel usage.
