Good morning all,

Looking for some advice from the experts or people who currently are/have been thorough this

I am planning for PH , case management agenda already agreed etc and disclosure is important as it always is but I want to know the process a little better to stop em wasting my time

1. Can I create a document with what I know exists albeit heavily redacted but what is important to my pleaded case and add reasons why and send to the tribunal and R around 72 hours before

2 or do I just simply wait for the judge directions ./ instructions at the PH

3. If answer if 2 and they don’t give me certain documents I know exist do I request them direct for R first

4. If 3 is correct and they don’t provide me them to I write to the tribunal and request them under a certain order / rule

5. Any tips / suggestions to help me please

I am hoping for some of the people who provide expert advice day in day out to offer their views and comments

I posted not so long ago my PH was postponed and it’s now over 2 month away, prior to that the respondent prepared a PH bundle of over 190 pages (it’s a complex case) they selected no to JM on case management agenda and To date a year in neither side has discussed settling

Questions are :

1. If they prepared such a big bundle does this suggest that they are going to fight this aggressively to the end?

2. Do you think offering a settlement now on a WP basis might be a waste of time and should I possibly wait until after PH to see what directons the judge gives etc?

Just so you know neither party has selected strike out or deposit options, appreciate a judge can still over ride this

Hi all,

My PH has been postponed which is frustrating .

The respondent ET3 is vague and have so far yet to confirm what allegations they relied on to dismiss me, they didn’t state this in outcome or appeal letter and so far have only provided “examples” of allegations in theory ET3

Is their anyway between now and my new PH date I can ask for the R to clarify what allegations they intend to rely on at tribunal?

I have tried to ask them but they declined , is there any tribunal rule I can turn/ refer too?

Morning all,

Sorry I think I may of asked this question before but can’t seem to find the answer. For my preliminary Hearing I am wanting to take someone to take notes for me and be a support (understand they have to remain silent) but it’s mainly to make secure all important dates are captured .

Question for the experts is , the person I want to take in will be one of my witnesses at the final hearing, is this allowed? And if so do I email the tribunal to make them aware as the PH is a face to face rather than via video call.

Just a quick query

The respondent has asked for the case management document to be submitted 4 weeks before PH despite it only needing to be sent in by 7 days, is this usual / unusual ?

Also no strike out or deposit option has been selected or any further PH requests… I take this is a good sign ?

I have my upcoming PH which is set as a private face to face hearing for 2 hours , and have a couple of questions as a litigant in person :

1. Can a strike our of deposit order be raised in the meeting?

2. Will the judge help me with a list of issues?

3. Will I print copies of paperwork for the R and judge ?

4. In section 3.7 how many questions can I ask the respondent ?

Finally any hints or tips for a LIP as I am up against a large company solicitor
