From Teaching to A Corporate Job
I have been teaching for 12 long years and I couldn't find the words to say how dreadful teaching is in PH. Ayoko na talaga!!!! But.......... teaching is the only thing I'm good at...... I am confident that I have a remarkable skill in teaching at alam kong hindi na para aksayahin pa ang sarili ko sa mga institusyong namulat na sa korapsyon. Oo, sobrang korap din sa education sector nakakasuka. If you are in the public sector, education is politics. If you are in the private sector, education is business. Gets mo kung nasa company ka, ayon, business is business talaga, black and white, by the paper. Pero ung nasa paaralan ka tapos on top are politcs and business? Disgusting. Walang totoong edukasyon sa pilipinas. T_T
Anyway....
I am now at a very crucial point in my life. Buo na ang loob kong umalis sa education sector that's why I am exploring my options. I am grateful to find this community. I don't really know much dahil wala akong naging ibang trabaho kung hindi ang mag turo.
Baka merong mga HR officers dito, recruiters, etc. Please help me find my options. What is there for us teachers who would want to try corporate jobs? Which jobs in the corporate sector would need the skills that we have long honed in the education industry?
