Looking to Study Buster Faulkner’s Georgia Tech Offense — How Is He So Multiple?

Does anyone have access to Buster Faulkner’s Georgia Tech playbook? I’d really like to study it.

I’m a high school coach, and we run more of a pro/spread-style offense. Our foundation is pretty simple: gap-scheme runs paired with spread passing concepts, with a big emphasis on execution. We run Power, Power Read, GT/GH Counter, Trap, etc., along with Flood, Stick, Mills, and some other passing variations.

Most of what we do comes from static formations with little to no pre-snap motion outside of Jet Sweep and Jet Power Read. It’s been a good foundation for us, but I’m looking to branch out more with personnel groupings, shifts, motions, and different ways to dress up the run and pass game.

That’s one of the things that really catches my eye about Faulkner’s offense at Georgia Tech. It looks similar to what we already do in a lot of ways, but there’s so much more variation built into it. I’m really interested in how he’s able to be so multiple without making the offense overly complicated.

Is the terminology really that simple? Is it the procedures or rules that give them so much flexibility? How much stress does that put on the QB and the average player?

Honestly, part of my motivation is that our parents and administration are starting to want us to “spice things up” because that’s what they see at the college level. Apparently, winning isn't enough. 😂 I’m not looking to change things just for the sake of change, but I am interested in finding ideas that make sense for us and still allow us to play fast and execute.

If anyone has access to his Georgia Tech playbook or has studied his system closely, I’d love to hear your thoughts or get pointed in the right direction. Or if there is something/someone similar I am all ears!
