Be aware of this store
I've already bought figures from them and all was good, but lately it changed drasticalyl (Mirai Collectibles). I paid preordered figure over a year ago. The project got scrapped by the manufacturer. Did Mirai tell me? Nope. I found out months later when I noticed this when watched on another store.
When I finally got a reply, they fed me the classic line: "We can't refund you until the studio pays us back." Naively, I accepted that and waited.
Fast forward to today. I have been told twice that my refund was "approved and sent to the finance team." That was the last I heard from them. I’ve sent half a dozen emails since then zero replies. They have gone completely radio silent on me.
Conclusion
- They took my money
- They didn't update me on the cancellation
- I had to beg for info
- They ignored me once the issue required actual work on their end
Warning for collectors: If you have open orders with them, document everything. Screenshots, order numbers, dates. You will need it if you have to file a chargeback (though it’s probably too late for that now if you paid via PayPal early on)
