The whole sim 1 is lagging for me, How do I solve this? I tried everything online but someone out here might know the solution

Hi everyone, please help me out with this. Everyone lags for me, it’s unplayable especially when am following someone else. How do I solve this? It’s clearly not happening to anyone and I might be lagging too much for others.

Do you think Upwork got worse after they removed specialized profiles?

For me after they removed the specialized profile it has been extremely hard to get hired. I couldnt also win adjacent works in my niche which am pivoting too. It’s like their ai is a curse.

Suggestion: If a job post has more than X number of invites, then the apply button on the job feed for other freelancers should be grayed out.

I think one of the platform’s main connect milking techniques is that clients invite freelancers, while people applying from the job feed still lose connects even though, most of the time, the client ends up hiring someone they invited.

Why make people lose connects? If you already can guess the outcome? I know the argument that follows “then do not apply” but still many will lose their connects for the unreasonable profit of the platform.

For the first time in three years, I looked for a job outside Upwork

Hey everyone, for the last few months I was reading people’s post here about how finding job has gotten harder, no proposal views, high connect pricing and so on… Well I thought that was a bs, until I started applying after I got free time to add additional job in my free time.

My profile job feed is a mess, it gives me jobs that has nothing to do with my profile, all my applications are left with no views, 20+ proposals in 10min, fake job stats on the paid version and instant hires that feels surprisingly odd.

I really hope they come to their senses and fix the platform and bring more clients and let go of their UMA.

Don’t put your eggs in one basket is a real thing.
