Reform gaining traction

What do we think how will it affect us ???
Here’s my take :

  1. whilst they are doing a good thing reducing sharia law and halal meat which benefits us , especially since they actively want to tackle the grooming cases it’s beneficial

  2. on the flip side , do they acc see Sikhs as differ to Muslims is the question ? They’ll treat us just as bad ??? Even though some of their politicians are also immigrants .

  3. the guy that got voted in Essex who tweeted that the assault of the Sikh woman by a white man was good . Why isn’t any action being taken against him??? So far only heard Sikh organisations spread awareness but have they filed a lawsuit???? Furthermore, the media in the uk is turning a blind eye to Sikh issues , whilst so many grooming cases have come to light especially in the West Midlands they should be making it to national news to make it aware to everyone whats happening.
Perpetrators should be caught and Sikh youth uk should be merited for their work which is far better than what the police are doing?

What do u guys think is reform acc better for British Sikhs? Or will it lead to more violence ???

Simply I think Khalsa aid and other charities we aren’t doing enough for apne in Punjab . There’s poor ppl converting to Christianity just because Christian’s are supporting them but aren’t we as Sikhs taking care of our brothers and sisters???

Now Khalsa aid is recognised worldwide and sure they’re 100% doing a great job .
But at the same time they were “HELPING” PPL WHO DIDNT NEED IT

get this back when the queen passed away ppl were in line to pay their respects.
Now these people willingly stood in the long line; they had enough money to take time off work and queue up there ( mostly rich ppl can even do that the middle class white ppl are more focused on themselves ). And there goes Khalsa aid giving them food and water even though the ppl could’ve easily bought stuff so isn’t Khalsa aid there just to gain recognition??? Just to show that they help everyone ? When in fact they should’ve been helping ppl who acc need it .

Do we rrly think Khalsa aid is doing enough or could they do more for us?? If we help more Sikhs and educate them then they can go ahead and help other apne and other ppl in the world ?
Charity starts at home lol

So this shabad

japayeau jin(h) arajun dhev guroo fir sa(n)kaT jon garabh na aayau ||6||
Whoever meditates on Guru Arjun Dayv, shall not have to pass through the painful womb of reincarnation ever again. ||6||

Bhatt Mathuraa in Svaiyay Mehl 5 - 1409

Suggests us to worship guru arjan dev ji and meditate on his name
But then we’re told to meditate of gurmantar Waheguru

We’re also told not to worship the gurus that’s idol worship and guru gobind Singh ji backs this in bachhitar natak stating

jo ham ko paramesur auchar hai ||
Whosoever shall call me the Lord,

te sabh narak ku(n)dd meh par hai ||
shall all fall into the pits of hell.

mo ko dhaas tavan kaa jaano ||
Consider me the servant of the Transcendent Lord.

yaa mai bhedh na ra(n)ch pachhaano ||32||
Do not think of any difference between me and Him. 32.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Bachithr Naatak - 57

So realistically which is it?
Gurmantar japp? Worship the guru ???

I understand guru sahib is the sargun roop of Akaal purakh
However we’re supposed to worship the nirgun roop the infinite
Guru gobind Singh ji is merely stating that he is Akaal purakh but Akaal purakh isn’t him
