Hii everyone,

I recently got a call from a small IT company in Surat for a fresher software developer role. They are asking me to sign a bond and submit:
• a blank signed cheque
• my original 12th marksheet

I understand companies want security because many freshers leave early, but asking for both together feels risky to me.

As a fresher, I really need experience and the current job market is already difficult, so I’m confused whether this is a normal practice in small IT companies or a major red flag.

🚨All companys in Surat asking for bond each and every company.

Has anyone here faced something similar?
Did you accept it or avoid the company?

Would genuinely appreciate honest advice from people working in IT.
