"I know a guy that'll do it cheap"

Residential household, issue where on one circuit, some (not all) receptacles and lights suddenly stopped working.

Plug tester says the hot and ground was reversed somewhere.

Multimeter says floating neutral somewhere.

I stick the tester into this receptacle and suddenly the power comes back on, going back out upon removal, reporting correct wiring.

Low and behold, the laziest work I've ever witnessed. Had a look at some other receptacles, THEY ARE ALL WIRED LIKE THIS. The only thing this electrician seemingly ever bothered to pigtail was the ground. Anyways, issue was the top backstabbed neutral loosened.

Homeowner didn't want it redone, just wanted the loose neutral tightened.

Troubleshooting my Gotek

So I'm trying to get my Gotek (running FlashFloppy) to emulate a 360Kb 5.25in drive for an IBM compatible. (A Compaq Portable II)
With my current config, I got the computer to recognize the Gotek and try to issue commands. The Gotek appears to respond, and send over the information, however the computer soon after issues a disk boot failure.

Detailed in the images is some documentation on the Portable II's disk drive, along with my current Gotek configuration.

Wondering if someone might be able to give me a fresh set of eyes on this?

Picky Compaq Update 2

Context:
OG post
Update 1

Update:
So I finally got the thing talking with the GOTEK properly! Except for one mild thing.
On every attempt to boot, the disk appears to abort with a "boot failure" shortly after what I think is the BIOS issuing an INT 13H. (hence the screen clearing and the GOTEK seeking track 0 before the failure)
I have the GOTEK configured to emulate exactly the factory 360Kb drive that was detailed in a technical document I found, except for some mild (though I think negligible things such as interleave, which I didn't find in the document anywhere)
I was just wondering if I could get an extra set of eyes here and see if I can finally get it to run something!

(Also thought I'd hand over a few extra photos I took of the internals and such!)
