Would there be any good items for enrichment for a, baby Halmahera BTS? I have been looking online(YouTube videos, chewy and other apps) though, have not been able to find much for skinks specifically. Most of what I have found are more for bearded dragons or chameleons.
I also would like to ask if there would be any good(better) misting options rather than, just an average spray bottle, used for plants, as it doesn’t always work to keep the humidity up for my friend here 🤞🤞

I will have to change out the substrate layer this week coming, and just had a few questions before, getting the proper things needed for it. I am quite certain, I do have a Halmahera, and was just wondering if there were any, specific, items I should use for the substrate layer. Currently I’m using about a 60% coconut coir 40% play sand mix with a layer of coconut chip on top of that and some sphagnum moss around the enclosure as well. But just had been wondering if there were any, better, options for this sub species.

Just wondering, as, he doesn’t really explore too much. Again though, he is still a baby, though, he has been with me for almost 2 months now. He doesn’t seem to, drink from the water bowl much, eat from the food bowl, or, explore too much.. he does get water, after I mist the enclosure down, he loves going to the walls and plants to lick those😅 and for eating, he has started to eat baby food from a spoon, and still, eating any insects that go near him, I have also tried a lot of the suggestions from users who have been very helpful, though, he still, hasn’t really, gone near that food either..
As I have said in, multiple, previous posts by now😂 I may just be over reacting with it all, just want him to be happy and healthy.

I have been struggling to get him to eat, anything, other than bugs. Though,I have given him blueberries and small pieces of other fruit and vegetables, he has tried them, and doesn’t seem to like any of them. After first trying them, he now just runs over them if it is in his food bowl😅
My only other question at the moment, would be, if I could possibly get some help identifying his sub species. I had not been told when I had gotten him last month, and at the time with the excitement, I had forgotten to ask as well..

I have been looking a lot at others skinks and mostly, their tails, as theirs seem to be a lot more, stocky, than what my friend here, has.. and again it may be me overthinking it but just curious. Hopefully it is just me overthinking it
