just a few other quick questions..
I am still a fairly new person to the hobby and owner of my skink.. so, some questions may seem a bit, “what is he asking” but, I just want to ask to make sure to be safe and to get the right things needed
1: would it be safe to get a moss hideaway? One made out of moss?
Last thing, I don’t have many shops nearby at all, that sell things for reptiles.. so would there possibly be any good suggestions for, anything “worth buying” on the Chewy App when it comes to hideaways, basking area(s) and any fake plants that would hang around the enclosure?

Just a quick little, question, when it comes to bathing these little guys😅
I’m still a bit new with my friend here, and have yet to bathe it yet. But, before I do, is there anything I should buy for the process? Any, safe kind of soap(s) or anything at all? Also, he is still small, but, should I(while I am out tomorrow grabbing him some basics) should I get nail clippers, if there’d be any at the nearest PetCo to me? I don’t have a PetSmart too close by, and I also am unable to drive with not having a license at the moment from my seizures, but, if I can get a way out to a PetSmart I will definitely look there for anything, REALLY, needed.

Anyone else, when doing the casino hiest big con approach, with the bugstars outfit, do the guards before the mantrap ever just… not move? Like they just stay in the same position everytime I’ve tried to do the hiest.. and I honestly. Don’t know what to do about it 🤷🏽‍♂️😂

I have had my skink for about. 3 months now, though, it seems almost every other time I get him out of the enclosure.. he ends up using the bathroom, on me, at some point somewhere🤦🏽‍♂️😂
Is that something that.. could be, potty trained I guess? Or would that just be them being scared in the moment? I don’t do anything to, try, frightening them. Though it still, seems to happen almost every other time..

Just a quick question..
Would you guys recommend topsoil or coconut coir as a base for the substrate layer? I currently use coconut coir, though, it does dry out quite quickly, and with my work schedule, I am not able to spray the enclosure down as often. I also feel, the coconut coir, could be one of the reasons for his sneezing(when it dries out)
Any help?

I have been looking into getting new brake pads for my electric bike, though, I am not too sure which would be best. I know I need metallic pads that, stick to the calipers. Though, don’t know if resin or semi-metallic pads would be better for my bike. Any help would be greatly appreciated🙏

My baby blue tongue had just ate a superworm and had started roaming around a bit afterwards. After a few seconds, it has started to open its mouth, widely, for a few seconds(what felt like minutes) until it had thrown up the entire worm, with, a bit of blood along with it.. Is this anything, Extreme, I should worry about? Or would it just be from not being at the right body temperatures while eating?

Has anyone else ever noticed/found these very, almost, microscopic insects crawling on their bts? I had just found one or two crawling around on my little friend in his enclosure while he was basking, and just wanted to know if it is something I should be worrying about or if it is something normal.

Would Anyone have any suggestions on any, good, low price, misting system options? I currently, have been using this spray bottle that, I’d say, is more for plants than for anything else.. which obviously isn’t bad, with the amount of plants that are in his enclosure, but, everytime I spray it down, he gets so scared 🥲 and I hate seeing it😣, he runs off and won’t come out for around 20 minutes, and with the amount of times I spray it down, to keep the humidity up, it feels more like(in my head) it honestly feels like in a way, I’m torturing him by doing it this way 🥲😅 I’ve been trying to look into an actual misting system just, haven’t been able to find any, good(cheap) options…

Any ideas on some “homemade”, or, at home food that a baby, blue tongue skink would eat? Mine hasn’t been eating much other than the bugs I get him. I have tried a few different things but he doesn’t really, seem to touch them much.
