Ovako: imam preko 30 i jos nemam polozen vozacki niti sam isla u autoskolu. Prije nisam htjela uopce polagati i bilo me strah al sad mi je dosao neki klik u glavi da bi bilo bolje poloziti. Najveca motivacija mi je pas da ga mogu odvesti gdje god zelim. Koju autoskolu u Splitu preporucujete? Je li ima ko od vas ko je isao "kasno" polagati?

Hi everyone,

I have a 14 month old golden retriever. He is generally a sweet and intelligent dog, but he gets very scared and startled by cars, traffic and especially motorbikes.

When we walk near roads, he often freezes, gets very tense, and then tries to move away towards “safer” places. After the trigger passes, he does return to normal and continues walking, but he still looks quite stressed in those moments.

At home and in the yard he is much more relaxed and confident, so it feels like it’s mostly related to traffic and busy environments.

Has anyone experienced something similar with their adolescent dog? Did it improve with age, training, or both? At what age did you notice a real difference?

I would really appreciate hearing real experiences, because sometimes it feels like we are stuck in this phase.
