Im moving down to Peoria in the next few months, what areas should i avoid looking for places? Were a gay couple from the Rockford area and are looking to find some place less sketchy than the usual neighborhoods in rkfd. Ive heard good things about Peoria Heights and areas in East Peoria, but our budget is pushing us closer towards downtown. Any recommendations are great! TIA!
