Can I be picky?
I was laid off recently from my HR role and i really thought by now I would be in a new role, but seeing every company is going through a lay off is making me less hopeful.
I recently interviewed at a place that is paying me the same as my previous job but wants me in 5 days a week vs 3 days, which means generally more money in commuting and extras. I want to withdrawal myself, but am I crazy for wanting to be more picky on my next role if my unemployment and support system is getting me by financially?
This time has made me realize how much I want a remote or hybrid role since I’ve bee severely burnt out and my health has taken a plummet.
My finance is supportive financially but I know he’s eager for me to get a role no later than September. He’s fully remote but has his own office and I give him his space so the both of us being home isn’t an issue.
