I have a friend who lives in canyon lake who’d give me a pass if I asked, are the beaches / lake worth swimming? Or is it gross like Elsinore? Looking to take a dip and cool off!

Might be a dumb / redundant questions but I have heard mixed reports? Are there even beaches people can go for a swim?

Did this hike last weekend, was beautiful even without the water, but curious if anyone’s ever taken a dip there after some heavy rainfall?
