Hi! I am trying to establish serial communication between an XD233 and a thermal ticket printer. The XD233 should send the message to be printed to the thermal printer, and no communication from the printer to the XD233 is needed.

As the XD233 doesn't have dedicated serial ports, I am trying to establish the communication via the GPIO pins, with their alternate functions https://docs.brightsign.biz/developers/rocontrolport . I am new to BrightSign, and I couldn't find a good example of setting of these pins to their alternate function. Could someone help me know how to enable the alternate function of the pins to send messages over them? Thanks!
