Can someone help me get my half stops/ traps on rifle?

I’ve gotten most of the basics down on rifle but half stops/ Traps are the only think i can’t get a hold of. I keep doing singles for mine and it’s hard to give my arm less power for half stops/ traps, also I know my catch should be better

Fighting through a cold during band camp 😭

im on my second day of band camp and I caught a cold from my brother the day before we left for the camp. I have limited time besides lunch and dinner for ways to get healed so can someone please give me tips
