- Will I get a better price if I pop the diamond out and sell setting separately?
- Should I go to 4-5 stores in diamond district and compare pricing?
Any tips on how to maximize price are greatly appreciate!
Have a natural diamond 1.8ct GIA certified engagement ring to sell
I don’t want to pay to insure it anymore. I do want a similar oval diamond pendant, but lab grown because I don’t feel comfortable wearing the natural diamond given its price. Also divorced so don’t really want to keep it. But it sounds like there’s not much of a market for natural diamonds these days
Should I stop insuring it regardless? turn it into a pendant and accept the loss if anything happens since its value has diminished? Or what would be an acceptable resale value?
I’m going to guess ideally 4k resale and I can just get a lab grown pendant for ~1k and pocket something?
