I got accepted to a university in Vienna and I’m planning to move from Budapest in September for my studies. Right now I’m trying to understand the housing situation.

Is it actually possible to find a room or even just a bed space in Vienna for under €200 per month? If yes, where should I look and which websites/groups are the best?

I’m mainly looking for the cheapest possible option for a student at the beginning. Maybe

— WG/shared flat

— student dormitory

— sublet

— shared room

— bed in a shared room, etc.

I would really appreciate any advice, real experiences, or recommendations 🙏
