Equipment needed when using Cat6 cable from TV to WiiM Amp (complete newbie)

We recently renovated our patio and took the opportunity to have it wired so that we could have two outdoor speakers and the tv connected to a WiiM Amp. The tv to amp connection was supposed to be via an HDMI cable but I discovered that they used Cat6 instead for some reason.

As I understand it from the research I’ve done, I’d need an HDMI extender (both sender and receiver). My understanding of the connection process is:

TV > HDMI extender (sender) via HDMI cable > sender to receiver via Cat6 > receiver to WiiM Amp via HDMI cable.

Is that accurate and, if so, would this be sufficient for the HDMI extender?

Clueless - outdoor speakers

I’ve got a new covered patio that was wired for two speakers, one on either side of the tv. Plan is to connect the tv and speakers to a Wiim Amp so that we can run the tv sound but also play music. Nothing too crazy.

Someone recommended these speakers to me but wanted to check if there are any others I should look at instead. Price on Amazon is around $257 for the pair.

Proficient Audio Systems AW650WHT 6.5-Inch Indoor/Outdoor Speakers (White)

Additional details: patio is about 20x20 and fully covered. Speakers will be about 9ft up but pointed down towards the seating area and the speakers are equidistant on either side of the tv. In Virginia so temps swing to extremes in both directions but not for extended periods of time.

Thanks!
