11 months post op flare ups

I’ve been still steadily getting back into my normal exercise routine over the last 6 months but I feel like every time I make a little forward progress my hip flares up again. I had my hip impingement repaired along with labrum graft, hip flexor extension, etc back in August 2025.

My nurse at my last appt said that after I hit one year I’ll probably magically start feeling better. I figure she’s full of it, but how many people are a year post op and have your flare ups stopped?

When can I eat yogurt again?

I stopped eating yogurt when I was diagnosed with SIBO, and it’s probably my favorite food. I’ve gone through 1 round of rifaximin and then about 2 weeks later all my symptoms came back, then I finished a round of augmentin 2 weeks ago and so far so good. I’ve been very cautious and haven’t used any kind of probiotics at all but I have started taking ginger and artichoke every day. With all that said, when the heck am I allowed to introduce yogurt back into my diet? Or do I always have to avoid it? 🫠

I do still have some burning symptoms that I had previously, I go back to the doctor next week. But up until now they’ve generally been unhelpful.

It’s day 3 of Xifaxin for hydrogen SIBO (3x 14 days) and I don’t really notice any difference at all, have had a little headache but that’s about it. How long did it take you to notice any changes, bad or good?
Also - my doc only told me to avoid pro biotics before and during the meds. Is there anything else I should be doing during these 14 days?
